If you are fleeing war, you do not have to cross like half a dozen states. You go to the next free and friendly country and be nice and thankful for what you get. Not as a humbled serf, but just like a decent human being. All those migrants openly confess they want to go to Germany, Britain, France etc for economic reasons. Problem is, if everybody young and male flees their country, who will overthrow the dictaror at home, or whatever the reason is? Who will build up the country after the war? After WWII, nobody got wellness time out in a neutral, rich country until the dust settled. Why should we feed the Syrians any longer?!
