wait i need all the dlc to play coop or the coop is will be an update and not the repentace+ (i have all the dlc i dont minde but if i need all dlc to play coop thats too expensive for coop)
You need all the DLC's up to Repentance to play the new online Co-op, Repentance+ comes with the Online mode as a feature. Hope that cleared things up :)
I would like to say that a free update is one that doesn’t require dlc
I see where you are coming from, and I somewhat agree that the update should also be for people who only own Rebirth/Afterbirth/Afterbirth+. The unlucky thing about this whole situation is that Edmund probably would introduce online to all of these versions if he could, but the money doesn't calculate. Not only does he finance a portion of the development but also timewise he is either working on Repentance+ or the not that new Mewgenics. Additional compatibility would mean additional costs and time spent. I wholeheartedly believe everyone who bought any version of Isaac should be entitled to the update in some way or another, but the harsh truth is that it would be inefficient and not worth it for Nicalis nor Edmund. Dunce is underrated, so many of the games bosses and enemies are designed around the concept that you will be shooting horizontally, so being able to shoot diagonally increases accuracy and dps

The DLC's are updated content for the game, so both can be true at the same time. I should have labeled them as such at the begging, I apologize and will keep it in mind in the future. Thanks for watching :D
