It's actually in a suburb called Westminster. There's an area called Little Saigon along Bolsa Ave and that is where this is. It still looks pretty much the same.
The warehouses scene was filmed in Downtown L.A.

It depends! It can cause no damage, like in this video. All I did was replace the broken rocker arm with a new one and thats it. Though the second time it happened, i slighly bent a valve. Still not that bad. After the second time i was fed up, so I converted my sr20det to a dual guide setup. Never had a problem after that!
