This was a great interview bro, I never knew his story and often thought about it. I will say that it's not the coaches job to collect a bunch of knuckle heads, settle them down and coach them, because of their "potential". Sometimes an average coachable player is better than an egotistical superstar, the SPURS are a great example!!! Tommy definitely could've been a great, but some of his commentary leads me to believe that he still hadn't taken full accountability for his career.

This is a great episode Marcus! I have been a subscriber for some time now and am going to share this with my son, who is an junior in HS. I live in Fresno, Ca. as a barber and became great friends with Coach Terry as his personal barber. I will watch that episode later….but this brother Shannon Shorter’s story, is the story I know about all of my other players I’ve cut over my 25 years in this barber game. This is what the players need to know!!! I had too many fall of the “game of life” trying to find themselves when trials like Shannon’s arose. Thank you for this Chief. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
