...now VR seems mandatory for racing. You have to be able to look sideways as you drift to dial in your prograde marker. I'm not complaining but at the same time /ooph/ that makes racing harder to get into than it was before. Sick racing. It might become a thing where some ships have to fly this way more than others.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I want to look further behind me too but about 110 degrees from forward is the limit. Up and down are worse too even though there'd be a control advantage (slightly more thrust). It feels really good though, I thought it was more fun than the last flight model for sure.
@@JoeBissell It might be awkward since the screen doesnt move with you, as is it feels awkward cause when you drive a car you mostly look with your eyes, not by moving your entire head.
looks more like fabric to mee
That it does. I think this was from before I got the spring forces working correct.
@@TyBarkin wow didnt expect for the response.
@Mrdashell Lol I didn't expect a comment on a 9 year old video so I thought I'd stop by

Can that provide protection for my kids at the park?
A few good tasty snacks
Next time try equipping grenades and just drop or chuck one soon as you wake up, that'll at least make them move back, if not outright kill em
Ah thats actually a great idea, will be making that part of my standard load out just incase
What did you glue the ribs to the other balsa with of the wing??
Not 100% sure what part you are talking about but if you give me more detail I'm glad to help.
@@TyBarkin what glue did you use for the build??
@@MarkVellawyatt I used a generic CA glue I picked up at a local wood working shop. www.rockler.com/titebond-instant-bond-wood-adhesive-medium
Wow that's amazing!
I see what you're doing with that inertia vector indicator! Suddenly racing makes sense to me
Nice decoupled flying, so satisfying to watch!
Dude that's amazing flying right there...
Nice!

Howd you get VR working for Star Citizen?

You using VorpX to get VR working?
Niiiiiiice ! Lemme Guess: VorpX ya? It seems there are more and more of use every day!
Holy shit! Those are some mad skills you got there!
.... You actually got VR to work? Best I could get working is head tracking, but there was no depth.
I saw a UA-cam video of a guy who explained how he got it to work some months ago. Don't remember the name, though.

@@Chachi_Sanchez If your computer is beefy enough the geometric 3D felt pretty good. It is a shame the HUD glitch is way worse in that mode

Lol good timing; I just posted a 3.5 practice lap. The flight model is insanely different but I think I might enjoy it more.
