Yo your guitar tone is killer man. I got the same squier jazzmaster but my tone is just too shrill and muddy do you know what your pickup height is for your bridge and neck pickup? I really dig the track as well, it’s a really good idea and definitely inspires me.
thanks! i know what you're talking about with the icepick/shrill nature of the pickups. when im playing with my amp, i just tune the tone knob down to 5 or 6. when im working my guitar directly into my pc, like in this clip, the eq after the guitar amp sim usually does the job.
@@absofruitlyriley Thanks for the reply! Do you know anything about your pickup heights with how you balance them and contrast them with the Low E and High E on the neck and bridge pickups? Like do you have them set in any particular way? I will try this with the tone knob, I recently put in 250k pots too so hopefully might help!

you did the drums and the bass with programs or actual instruments?? no critiscism i just wanted to know
the drums are programmed, and the bass was my playing. although, sometimes i do use plugins, like in today's video. this is for the songs lower than drop a#. in the first half of the clean section, the bass is going through a fully wet reverb.
