I dont know what world you live in but women nowadays still dont like being treated as "prizes to be won" I.e. being treated as an object or nothing more than a trophy to show off. Yes I've heard some women call themselves a prize before, but it sounds like you're heavily misinterpeting what they mean when they say that theyre a prize. When a woman says that, she simply means that she is someone who should be valued and she wont allow any potential partner to take her for granted or underestimate her, she does NOT mean she wants to be treated like an object or a trophy (which is what jasmine means when she says "I am not a prize to be won"). The context of a word within a sentence matters heavily, and you seem to be ignoring that.
