Danke für die Bereitstellung. Dieses Stück ist mir 2021 im Gedächtnis geblieben, auch wegen des großartigen Yaron Deutsch. Habe vorher so etwas noch nicht gehört. Leider gibt es noch keine CD, oder?
Hallo, many thanks for the message, and glad this composition has stayed with you. So far there is no CD release indeed, but we are going to release a really great recording of this piece, with the same soloist and conductor but with another orchestra (the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra) in fall of this year (2024) on Sub Rosa Records (subrosalabel.bandcamp.com)!

My God, I love this, i felt so much better after listening to this, one of the best pieces i've ever heard, would like a recording of this.
I am a cellist and can I say that what he is doing is extremely difficult and requires and incredible amount of concentration and unbelievable technical control of the instrument. Queyras is probably the most refined cellist of the modern age and has a wonderful open mind and plays music from such and incredible range of composers. His playing of Bach and Schubert is so incredibly pure. This piece is played with the same level of sophistication and understanding. Incredible refinement. Bravo!
