I love it I love it I love it I love it 🥰 I prefer linear switches 9/10 times, but I want one tactile switch in my rotation. For a couple of months, it was the Geon Clear Tactiles. I purchased the Ice Kachang V2s after watching a video from Bokehhbob. Glad I did because these easily replace the Geon Clears that I had. If you haven't seen his video yet, I highly recommend it!

@@RoboKeebo Tactility feels similar between the two, but the Geon Clears have a snappier return - I think it's cause of the two stage spring.

Love them! Some of the best sounding switches I've ever tried. I have them in my Frog TKL right now and I might've found my endgame config for that board. Haven't tried the other HMX switches, but I will in the future.

@@L2theuc xinhai is their endgame lineup for sure. if you want more rounded and a little lower pitcher then xinhai, but with the same loudness...i'd suggest you to get hmx hyacinth v2 ( not v2u )... and is also my favorite switches from them. along with xinhai ... hahaha nice board bro .. keep it up

Thanks for the message! Couldn't agree more! Not a fan of the split design or the accent strip across the forehead of the board, but some people like it. And thanks! I'll be uploading a sound test of the Xinhais in the Geon Frog tomorrow.

I purchased these Gateron Oil King switches from the secondary market, so I'm not 100% sure if the previous owner removed the factory lube from the switches. However, I don't usually remove the factory lube myself. I usually just go over it with whatever lube I'm using (i.e., Krytox 205g0). If you really do want to remove the factory lube, I've heard (1) alcohol swabs and (2) soap and water are effective ways to removing factory lube using products / items typically found in homes. Third method is using an ultrasonic cleaner. If you Google 'How to remove factory lube from switches', you should get specific information about this. Good luck! ☺
