You realized how spoiled and entitled modern people are. I grew up in a 1000 sq ft home with 3 siblings and two parents. Now single people act like anything under 1400 sq feet is small. One of my coworkers with no children nor spouse constantly complains how small her 1600 sq ft home is.

Adorable. 250 more square feet than the first home we bought; had a newborn baby boy, 2 bed, 1 bath & 2 boys, 4 & 9, in the 2nd bedroom. Big, big back garden!!! Little discretionary money.
