@@Songwritersbehindthecurtain It really depends, but the labels own a lot of unreleased content when artists submit stuff for album and they review which tracks they want released and which ones they don't. Though not everything is always submitted to the label so they probably wouldn't have everything, but they definitely have some stuff.
When a song leaks a lot of the time it gets copyrighted by the label meaning they have some sort of ownership of the song already.
