Those lines you were seeing on the mavic screen are called zebras. They show you where the overexposed parts of your footage are so you can adjust the exposure lower. It’s confused because it’s a totally overcast sky so it thinks the image is overexposed. Zebras can be really useful when shooting a variety of things but they’re used a lot when filming people, so their faces don’t get overexposed and blown out.

I live 15 minutes away. Explored here many times. Never had anything bad, creepy, or haunting happen here. Never had any issues with any of my cameras, which I always carry with me when I go here. However, just a few miles south I swear an entity possessed my camera at a place called the Ice Box. There was this one guy looking into a pit with a while playing ominous music. I knew I made a mistake by going over to where he stood. Shortly after, my brand-new camera had to keep shutting off. It wasn’t until me and my friend hiked another mile or two that it finally started working properly again. Definitely the weirdest thing that happened to me in a while.

Nothing abnormal about people, airplanes and fox howls. Elementary level stuff here

The barn was boarded up 2yrs ago and actually looked good there was no access to inside so that's all recent it's traded so sad

The remaining houses were demolished I believe just before covid there was a green house near where the white one was bothe demoed around same time I believe 2019 give or take

You kept saying how "crazy" you felt being there. Well, that's the vibe that Sabe's give off when they don't want people trekking into their territory. Yes, that particular "rumor" is true. Also, with the lack of wildlife chatter, that is another sign that Sabe's are near. Two things about this video I found was odd were, #1, the planting of the trees. I'm telling you, the Park system has a LOT of nerve! Right after they threw everyone off their homesteads, and bulldozed everything, (except for the hostel where you parked, the Park didn't bulldoze that b/c the Park saw they could make money from it. 🙄), they went through and CUT DOWN a whole mess of trees! HUGE trees that were a hundred years old!!! 😡. Their reason? "They weren't indigenous to the area"!😡😡😡. So yeah, that's messed up that they're planting trees. Not only that, but they planted them WAY TOO close to each other! But that's the Park for ya, they're not very bright. #2, the Red Barn. The Park kept that barn in immaculate condition but kept it under Lock and key since the 80's!!! If you were caught even peering in the windows, you'd go to Jail!!!! WTH happened to it??? How long has it been in this deteriorated condition??? That just ticks me off to no end. See how screwed up they are??? Won't let anyone even LOOK in the windows for decades, and now it's wide open, with huge holes. I swear the park system is on drugs. LOL Okay, I'm going to set you straight here on a few things..........Speaking of the barn, noooo the animals were not slaughtered on the ground level. That would be extremely unsanitary, not to mention frightening for the other livestock to hear/witness. That's cruel and inhumane. They had special cement sanitary buildings for that or were taken elsewhere to have it done. (much like today, not much has changed). Those wooden bins that you suggested is where they "kept the meat". You can't possibly be serious? You were joking, right? How would they keep it cold? In a wooden bin? Nope, those bins are where they kept the feed for the livestock. Bags of feed were heavy; they were moved around with chains. You hit your head on one. Upstairs is where they kept the bales of hay for their livestock. The top of the hill is called 'The EDGE of the World', not the end of the world. My boyfriend lived up there on that plateau, just to the left of the Edge of the World. The first house was an antique store, the owners lived in the back of the house. There were only four other houses, 'were' being the operative word. Now it's just a meadow that the Park is allowing nature to reclaim. You kept saying that you were "looking for all the old houses". Why were you looking for houses in a well-known area that the Feds threw everyone off their homesteads and bulldozed everything? If you wanted to see all the old houses, then you should have gone in 1972 when the street was lined on both sides with old houses. They were your typical farmhouses, some larger than others. But they're in a landfill now and have been for a very long time. I know. It sux! But that's the Feds for ya. If they want something, they'll just Take it, whether You like it or not. Cool video though! I like the view from your drone! I didn't know they put a road in, to the left up there near the barn. That's good to know. It would be kinda cool to check out where it goes? Sorry for the long comment, but I felt you should know these things. I remember when that was a thriving community. I can tell you sooo much more, if you're interested. I could also show you a bunch of stuff, but I would need a powered bicycle! LOLOL
