Abandoned Haunted Railroad Tunnel in Knoxville w @tnexplorer (TikTok)
This tunnel is in #Knoxville #tennessee. It is not a secret location but I’m not going to tell you exactly where it is. Do a little research and you’ll find it. I live in Massachusetts and found it. Happy exploring!
Completed around 1885, this tunnel was constructed for the L&N Railroad (Louisville and Nashville). According to another UA-camr there was a water tower attached to the west end. You can see where it had been. At the time it was built there was a prison and a hospital nearby. Local legend says that a secret tunnel was dug from the hospital to the train tunnel. It was supposedly used to move the dead and dying of communicable diseases out of sight of the living. Move them to where? The other local legend says that the nearby prison hung men from the top of the tunnel to serve to discourage others from their wicked ways. L&N Railroad did have a utility room built into the surrounding wall outside the tunnel but said that it was filled in, sealed and covered. It was a room, not a tunnel. You put a door outside a tunnel and people are going to make up stories about it. This is a good beginner site for anyone just getting into #urbex #adventuring.

A domestic day in quarantine dehydrating foraged apples, cooking a steak in the firepit and playing with our dogs while enjoying a bottle of Prosecco by the fire. Also, we received the news that Ruth Bader Ginsburg had died. It ended our evening. So sad. She did so much, for so long, while sick too! Such a hero and inspiration. What an amazing review! I will get the one with micro spikes built in and an expandable gaitor. One thing I noticed that if you wear a Medium size regular shoe then the overshoes should be a size Large. These overshoes are much easier to put on in the middle of the winter than to deal with regular micro spikes with frozen fingers.

My knees are shot too. Need replacement. But waiting on a better procedure to become common enough for medicare.
If you could please remove the music that would be great. I had to turn on subtitles to know what you were saying the music was so loud. If people want to hear loud elevator music while you are talking they can put on some themselves. Super appreciate the review though, this does seem like the best hammock stand I've ever seen, will probably order one.

Bought one of these last year but didn't get a chance to set it up.Will definitely set it up on Madeline Island in Lake Superior this season. It gets windy on that Island. I liked your video. Just wondering how your 18 foot tipi holds out in the wind? Did you get some different stakes? Did that zipper issue get resolved? We have lots of Racoons and other little critters poking their noses around our campsites up here.( Lots of big critters,too!)

I don’t think it would work well. You can’t really tie a ridge line.
Is this an all seasons tent?
No it is not. The panels are big enough to cut a hole for a stove jack, and obviously the teepee design sheds snow easily but it is by no means intended for winter use.
Can you swing in it?? I love the idea of a hammock to swing in while I read at the park. P.s. love your vids!!!

It's great that the teepees showed in the rain! The test was successful, the seams are made firmly. Good quality, now you can go to nature!
why don't you have Stabilicers on your boot. Clearly you have icy areas that you can slip on.
Didn’t need them to demonstrate the overboots but I do carry Yaktraks with me!
How comfortable are Bogs boots for a long walk/hike? I'm a mailman looking for either Bogs, or Neos for a long 12-15 miles a day of walking routes when it's pouring. Thanks!
I’m comfortable in them all day. I have higher ones as well but I probably wouldn’t wear them all day. The NEOS are a great option when you may need to take them on and off frequently.
