We start off the ride heading through the local forest plantations over the fells and down into Cartmel valley. We then climb up the other side of the valley over Hampsfell which gives fantastic opportunities to canter as well as stunning views of Morecambe Bay.
There is then a lunch stop at a friendly local pub before heading back over Canny Hill, a bridleway that runs over the fell land and back to the Riding Centre.
Riders must be able to canter in balance in an open environment and have had plenty of experience riding out.
