Actually I am on the hunt for that same Gund Hedwig! Hedwig is made by Gund as you know and they have pretty high quality toys! They also make this bear named Snuffles! Those Snuffles bears can be very rare! Snuffles came out in 1981 but at least you got a nice haul!
I have that stuffed Hedwig! I got it from a store when I was visiting my grandparents one summer. They used to have this store and it sold all kinds of neat toys, puzzles, games, and of course stuffed animals as well. When I saw Hedwig I knew that I had to have her and after checking with my mom I was told that I could get her. I do remember being at a store and seeing a stuffed version of Mrs.Norris but I didn’t get her now I kind of wish I had gotten her. I love all things Harry Potter and this one was made right around the same time as the first movie. I do have a stuffed Harry Potter doll that I found at a thrift store and bought for like 2 dollars.

I always seem to find elephants, koalas, and owls when I look through the stuffed toy bins at thrift stores. I once did manage to find a cute little stuffed platypus that I fell in love with and bought. I was reminded of the magical creature from Harry Potter the Niffler.

I show that store more in my Vlogtober Week 1 video (and it's in the thumbnail) - it was the biggest plushie section I've ever seen and the best organized too! They had a lot of cubbies filled with all the same animal or color, it was really nice!

Wow your goodwill prices are crazy. Mine sells plushies for around 3-5$… other things like clothing or electronics are kind of pricy but not too bad.
Most plushies are $2-4 here, but they will sometimes really overprice the large Squishmallows
