I'm from germany and looked Seaquest everytime with my older sister. I love seaquest. It was so cool. I wish the would show it on TV a second time..... T^T

They changed up a bunch of things, because NBC really didn't have any idea what they wanted to do with the show. They thought having younger actors and more hard scifi stories would appeal to a younger and broader audience. It did, but at the cost of alienating those who loved it in the first season. The first was criticized, too, though. It's just that the second was seen as much worse by many. (But it had its bright spots.)

I'm a big Seaquest-Fan and i'm dissappointed it didn't get better ratings. It was a great series and they had a great cast the first season!!
