One subtle thing i like about this battle is Bowser reacts to basically every single one of his troops that got hurt, and goes out his way to protect some of them, often to his own detriment, where as eggman uncaringly fought on no matter how died, at least until sage got sealed with the death egg right at the end. It's a great way to show their feeling about their armies
