An Attempt To Fight My Gaming Backlog | 2024
Every gamer out there is familiar with the endless games that are added to your backlog every year. We do our best to play through them, but new games just continue to come out. In this video, I wanted to share my attempt at getting through my gaming backlog, my inspiration to do this, as well as my thoughts on what I ended up playing! After 2 years of familiarizing myself with Godot and making small projects, I am finally going to attempt to make a larger scale game. My game is a continuation of my 2024 GMTK Game Jam game. Listen in on the progress I have made in 1 month!

Well done. I just want to add, that if you are playing a game that is not clicking for you, it is completely ok to not attempt to play it again, no matter how liked it is :) I went though my physical game collection and I was kind of annoyed by it. Then I made the decision to move the games I did not really want to play to a different spot and damn it feels so much better to look at my backlog now. Because it only holds game I have an interest in and is not cluttered with guilt games, like Xenoblade, Disco elysium, Final fantasy or any visual novels.

Great video but it would have been nice if you could have put like "SPOILER WARNING" and given a couple of seconds to skip for like the end of Sekuna. You're doing great getting through that back log though. I really need to get on this but choice paralysis is real!

The new look is nice. More clear, less hidden with the wall sprites. I do agree with the other person below that the bright yellow is a bit much.
It does look better, yet the yellow stings in my eyes & the layout feels unbalanced
Good note, I can try experimenting with other colors cuz I agree the yellow is very bright, and I do have one more thing to add to the layout that will help balance it, but I am not ready to disclose it just yet!
