You forgot that there was a split of people in the Free Software Movement, who created the term "open source", which is used by people who don't care about freedom and ethics, and it is even more used than the term Free Software. Also, most people, like you, are calling GNU/Linux just "Linux", forgetting that Android is also Linux but not GNU/Linux

The image shown while talking about Linux license was of GPLv3. This is incorrect, he used a different license at first, then the GPLv2 and flatly refuses moving the linux kernel to GPLv3 due to its ridiculous licensing requirements.
