Looking good - I'm trying to build something similar in my Hustler 32.
what size is the berth? Just want to compare it to mine
@@user-pq3md1jx8q hi thanks for watching. The berth is about 7ft. By 4ft. But not much leg room on the cockpit part.
😊 keep pushing mate.👍
@@user-ik4fv6cz2r hi thanks for watching. Thanks for your comments
How much oil did it take?
@@supernoob5993 you just keep putting oil in until it comes back out from the filling hole. But I used about 6 L.
@@supernoob5993 thanks for watching 👍
Nice bit of docking mate 👍
@marklewis9959 hi thanks 😊
I wonder what that spiggot is for on the front of the gearbox? Maybe it would help with central alignment to the engine. Good luck.
It works. I k know I will have to keep a eye on it until it fully tested.
Sorry, but I'm not convinced that it'll not fail at a time when you need it the most my friend, but only time will tell.
I hear what you're saying, but I think you should have UJ joints at either end of the propshaft my friend and then you wouldn't need the steel plate.
I know what your saying. But it's all in line. Thanks for watching. More videos on the weekend. Where you will see how good it fits Together.
@@nigelrendle4971 I'm looking forward to it Nigel and I hope it all works out🙂
When it shites itself you can use it as an anchor 😢😢
@donreeves60 your not seeing the full video. You all think I'm going to keep it all together with string lol how stupid. It all bolted together. And all in line. Keep watching for the next video on the weekend.
Зачем мне русскому, выдал ютюб это видео? 😂
Well time will tell. I can't see a problem with it.
I'm not so sure this is going to be a reliable solution.
Very interesting. Definitely would like to see longer videos. But I subbed to keep track!
Hi thanks for watching. I will put more videos on the weekend. Thanks for your comments.
I regularly opened the engine intake seacock when using the boat and closed it at the end of the weekend. I did not however do any regular off-season maintenance like cleaning and greasing. After a few seaons of this neglect and some seasonal growth buildup the seacock got stuck... I wacked it with a hammer and it broke in two. Fortunately the tide was high so I could motor straight for the beach. I plugged the hole with a wooden bung and returned the next day at low tide wih a brand new thru-hull and seacock.
Hi thanks for watching 👍
Hi - I just bought a Hustler 32 myself, so I’m delighted to be following your progress.
Hi thanks for watching. Please send me pictures of your hustler thanks 😊

That was a few years ago for sales brochure - it doesn’t look as clean now - happy to share more but not sure how
Are you not getting the heads skimmed to remove the damage where the sealing ring of the head gasket sits?
Hi thanks for watching 👍
Great video - I did the same job on my Westerly Konsort 15 years ago and I forgot to check the paddlewheel speed log. Plastic does not corrode !! - Frost damage in winter layup separated the outer flange from the body !! - Almost sank the boat.
Skim the block and heads and it'll be fine. Depending on how much comes off the block, you might have to top the pistons.
Hi thanks for watching. I have already put the heads in for repair. Hopefully it will be put back together on the weekend. Thanks for your comments. Please keep watching 👀.
@@nigelrendle4971 Hi Nigel. I'm a retired petrol and diesel mechanic, taught the old school way, on how to fix things, instead of replacing it with new. I was taught on cars, vans and HGV's in a small country garage just outside Chirk on the Welsh English border and I'll give you my opinion if you want it and yes, I'll keep watching🙂
@martin4787 yes I am old school to. Thanks nigel 👍
@@nigelrendle4971 Then we both know what we're talking about Nigel🙂

Hi thanks for watching. People just don't want to spend money.
@@nigelrendle4971 any tips on taking mine out I've got the rad of so far and ecu wire surrounds
Whats the price sir?
Hi thanks for watching. This has been sold thanks.
what did you paint it with - which paint and did you use a roller or brush ? Looks a lovely job
Hi thanks for watching. I have more videos on the painting of this and how it was done & the paint. Thanks.
Nice boat
I afraid I would get lost on that setup
I hope it helps someone else. Thanks for watching 👍
Lol thanks for your support 😊
Well done your lucky you didn't give yourself an hernia
Nice job.
Hi thanks for watching And you comments. Thay will be totally gone through to make sure that I can tust it. More videos are coming soon. Thanks nigel 👍
After watching your video and all the issues you had starting them I wouldn't be putting either in my boat. When you want an engine while sailing it needs to be reliable. Just my thoughts as an ex yachtie.Good luck. Ian
Is it true the bilge Keel ( twin keel) eliminates most of the Port to starboard rolling action?

I am a big big fan of this guy, he is a honest gentleman he sorted me out with two mirrors and they were perfect this guy is a jag genius
Hi thanks love your comments
no primer on the keel plate prior to applying epoxy filler??
Hi thanks for watching. I didn't think it needed eny primer. As it should be totally waterproof. Now. Thanks for your comments 😀
@@nigelrendle4971 Time will tell...
Fellow Hustler 32 owner, be good to swap notes.
I just sold my hustler so here some insight: no need to balance the weight of the engine they were designed to have the engine back there some owners removed them or individual builders did but ours was built with a yanmar behind the ladder and that who area was sealed off except engine acess and the births and where you vee berths was a anchor locker and additional Storage I don’t know if yours is the same but our engine panel was behind a wooden door in the back of the cockpit
Hi thanks for watching. And your advice. Thanks.
Hello, I'm referring to the video ua-cam.com/video/3HB6zcMcPA4/v-deo.html from them, but since the comment function is turned off, I'll write to them here. I have a problem. The RangeRover occasionally smokes heavily and has oil on the exhaust. According to the forums it is the EGR valve. Could your method of disconnecting the valve solve my problem?
Hi sorry I have just seen your message. I'm not sure what is happening to your range rover. If you send me a video of it smoking. I may be able to help. Thanks for watching 👍
What’s the make and model of this boat?
Hustler 32ft
Thanks, crack on!
@marioncobretti3076 thanks for watching 👍
Brilliant. I've been having this problem for weeks , I've looked at a million UA-cam videos etc but I did what you said about the reset and the accelerator thing and now it goes like a rocket. Excellent. Thank you very much. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hi thanks for watching 👍
Starting to look good the hull paint job is great bit of spit and polish on the decks it will come up nicely
Hi thanks for your comments. 😊
Done a nice job mate, the power mirrors work fantastic thank you for your help
No problem 👍thanks for watching 😊
Just scrap that piece of rust for good!
Looks great with the mast starting to become the yacht she was 😊😊😊
Surprised how rusty that XF is underneath
Yes, it is rusty, but it's not as bad as it looks. Keep watching and see how I fix it.
Nice one well done 😊
Thank you! Cheers!😊
