2003 Jeep Liberty rear shocks part 1 of 3
I've just done mine, I would advise anybody to take the two bolts out first to release and pull out the unit as Its easier to get to the clip to take off the wiring plug. It was extremely difficult to get the clip off.
Once it's gets cold out, Canada, ab type cold my Jeep will simply not freakin warm up!!!! Any tips sirs?
This takes much longer than 30 seconds! The resistor is very difficult to remove.
For those asking what it's called, it's a blower motor resistor.
Mine (2007) was working fine until yesterday; now it only works on "4". I'll replace that part and see what happens. Thanks.
It will fix the problem guaranteed
@@shropshirelado1849 Yes, it did.
I replaced it but the mew part gets super hot. Is that supposed to get hot?
I can’t get it out. I pulled the Clip and I can’t get it out. I’m afraid I will break it
Sonja Foster don’t worrie about breaking the clip... there is enough friction with the plug ends to make good fit....
Could that be the cause of my liberty 2006 blowing just cold air ??
Flush heater core and remove thermostat. Worked for me.
No, it only fixes the heater motor.
Hello I have a Jeep Liberty 2003 and the blower works just no hot air comes out. Any ideas on what may be wrong.?
What would make my heat work on setting 1 but go cold when I crank it up to 4? Blows fine on all settings just goes from hot to cold
Laura Salas might be low on rad fluid or air in the system
I added fluid and unplugged the settings knob behind it and plugged it back in. Definitely works MUCH better, but I have to increase the speed gradually or it'll go cold. And this morning after i had been driving for a minute, I stopped somewhere and left it running less than 5 minutes and when I got back in it was blowing cold. Warmed right back up after I took off tho
Lara, you have an air pocket in your heater core, get a coolant flush and you'll be good to go.
Part is 10 bucks on ebay
Hi Clay. I have the same issue. Jusy to confirm though. The problem is with the a/c and the heat right? Cause nothing works in my jeep
is the part called a dohekey, a whatchmacalla
What is the part called ? So I can look online ?
AlonSOAMAZING Blower motor resistor. Not to be confused with the blower motor relay, the relay is under the hood in the engine bay.
I’m glad this helped out... very cheep and easy to do ... other then thinking you have to tear the whole dash apart
Thanks bro - after doing a heater core flush, and ruling that out, I watched your video, and got one from AutoZone, 20$. Totally have warm air again!
When I turn heater on it it stinks n steams the windows
Wendy Sam if you get a smell like maple cookies or a sickly sweet smell you might have a leak in your heater core that gives you steam on windshield.... that can be a big job
Wendy, that’s definitely a bad heater core -
Was it the heater core wendy?
I replaced.the blower motor resistir but still didnt run, plz help de are frezzimg in NJ
