For the price, it is incredibly expensive, you honestly are better off doing any other red team course and you would get the same amount of information at a much lower cost. I personally love hands on training and courses, I started with the eJPT, I paid $150 for the course and exam and you actually learn and understand red team concepts while also applying them. Most MCQ exams like this are essentially a vocabulary trivia. I actually think the industry is going to pivot to exams like OSCP from here on out, totally practical and prove knowledge as well as skilles. EC council have a practical portion to the CEH now, but it is totally optional, like what is the point then?

Lmao the person who wrote this must have been high af creating the course. That is literally throwing fancy English for no reason, either the person really did use chatgpt, or he had chatgpt "improve" his scripts. I have only met English literature professors who write like that, for the dark mode issues, try and use the dark reader extension. Much better than most sites darkmode toggles. As for your 3rd critique about not keeping the course content, that is kind of crazy they don't let you keep the course, if that is the case definitely take notes while taking the course. When it comes to your physical cert, definitely reach out to support, and raise hell a bit 6 months is WAY to long. I disagree on the incident response portion of the exam, I have met plenty managers who know absolutely nothing on the tools and technology that their teams use, although your suggestions would be even better. Let us hope the CSOM is improved in the coming years.

As someone who has already done BTL1 and the free courses, I'm really surprised at your example for how convoluted the CSOM course is written. Neither BTL1, nor the Junior Security Analyst bundle are like that. They are very simple and straightforward. Try looking at the demos available for BTL1 and BTL2 and see if it's more of the same. I cannot speak for BTL2 but I did buy it for black friday, i'll update my comment when I go through it. I have to actually pass BTL1 before I try BTL2 so forgive the wait in advance. Thanks for this review and your insights. I was thinking of going for this when I pass BTL1 and BTL2.
