Hai, I am a mother of Rahini and Shanvi. Am very glad that now they are the part of Swaramedha through music. Honagodu is such a beautiful place in between forest and Swaramedha music festival . What a feast of music and in such wonderful setting. Really appreciate Chinmaya Rao Sir hardwork....

I saw all videos of Swaramedha festival at a remote place by name Honogodu which is located in shimoga district of Karnataka state. I liked the idea of having a sabhangan for music lovers and music learners as they can perform in the place surrounded by lush green trees alongwith the sounds of birds and pollution free area. The guests for the inauguration Sri Gundappa Jogi and Sri Gopal who are famous in their own fields of jogiipada and dance were honoured . It was the good decision by Sri Chinmay sir to call such a great personalities and to inaugurate the sabhangan by his students. The hari kathe on Sri Sridhara swamigalu was eye opening for me as it included the life history of Sri Swami the ups and downs in his life was very beautifully narrated by Vidwan Sri Ganapati Hegde Gopi. I frequently listen to those harikathas when ever I get time. My daughter joined the institution since 3 months. I liked the way sir teaches patiently to the students correcting the mistakes while singing etc. I would like to tell that the children who join to learn music will not only learn music but also develop how to anchor ,present themselves on stage either for singing or for playing an instrument etc. The children also go away from stage fear. I recommend more and more children join the swaramedha and be part of the team and support carnatic music as far as possible. Thank you sir for your support in teaching my kid and taking the music to the new height.
