Mini Peach Pies (Simple and Delicious Summer Recipe)
Welcome back to My Bake Escape. It is peach season in California. In this video I show you how to make delicious mini peach pies. I have a few friends with peach trees so I tend to wash, cut, and freeze peaches. I used frozen peaches for this, but you can use fresh. These mini peach pies are easy to make, and you can double the recipe if you are having company. Top these with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you have an amazing dessert.

How much flour, salt, butter, etc? Not helpful...sorry😢
@@allisondickey3909 Hi, here are the measurements: Crust: 1 3/4 cups (234g) all-purpose flour 2 tsp. (10g) sugar 1 tsp. Vanilla extract ½ tsp. (3g) salt 10 tbsp. 134g) cold unsalted butter (cut into small pieces) ⅓ cup ice water or more depends on humidity
There's anyone have the same problem as me that struggle with rolling the dough. Don't understand why they always break
I want the pineapple jar!
Amazon has it !!
Awesome- thank you for peeling your peaches, most people don't like the skin !!
My favorite parts about the Disneyland Resort are walking around the park, riding on some of my favorite attractions, and trying a few different kinds of churros each day advertised online based on the seasons of the year. The tiramisu churro and the peanut butter churros are a couple of my favorites - my sister and I couldn’t try every one of them of course. Also meeting the characters is the best part. Some of the food was good especially at a few places in Downtown Disney.
These look so cute and yummy! 😋
@@Treble214 thank you! They were fun to make.
those look amazing
@@AngelaJonesLuvsFood thank you!
Looks like a quality unit! Thanks for sharing your recipe, and demo. My favorite is a yeasted batter recipe with chopped pecans folded in. I cook mine old school one at a time in a 7" cast iron flip style made for the old wood stoves, but I use it on an induction smooth top. Takes a bit longer to prepare but the flavor makes it worth it.
Yum!!!!!!!
Pineapple on pizza is the bomb in my opinion especially Hawaiian with ham or Canadian bacon. Sweet and savory combined! So good!
@@Treble214 Hi! I agree, the sweet and savory is so yummy!
My favorite character is Peppermint Patty.
@@ceciliavallez6795 Peppermint Patty always makes me laugh! Love how she calls Charlie Brown “Chuck” and her flip flops! She’s a great character!
Yes is great museum I enjoy
Do it with blonde pods! We use blonde expresso
Can I make this with mocha pot
Hi, yes I’m sure you can. Just let the coffee cool down then mix with ice.
Good video! 👍🏽
Thank you!
Stopped watching and thumbs down after you began to mix. Seriously... you can't be bothered to give the ingredient amounts!?
Hi there, recipe and notes are in the description of the video. Have a great day!
@@MyBakeEscape I'll watch people who take the few seconds to give the amounts while cooking as I follow the video... which is more fun and convenient.
@@bop5277 thank you for the feedback.
I love pie
Where is ingredients/recipe
What about measurements?
Self rising flour?
Hi, I used regular all purpose flour.
I ❤ Peanuts ,this comic strip was great to read,I'm 59 yes old ,and I grew up watching all of the Peanuts classic cartoons. My favorite characters are Charlie Brown ,Linus,Snoopy when he fights the red baron and the cartoon It's a great pumpkin Charlie Brown!
I lived in Santa Rosa for a year while I attended college and visited the Schultz Museum twice. Loved both times and within the span of 3 months they changed the downstairs exibits so there was something new both times and wasn't boring either time. Dont know if they do this every year but around Thanksgiving they had a special day where they played A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, you could meet Snoopy, they handed out small portions of the Thanksgiving feast (popcorn, pretzels and jelly beans) as well as several other activities. Was an absolute blast and if you want to go back to the Schultz Museum that is definitely a time I'd recommend.
That sounds so fun!! I’m going to keep an eye out for special events, I would love to visit again. Thanks for sharing ☺️
I ❤ going to visit Santa Rosa and the museum. There are statues of Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy and Woodstock all over the city! Visit if you can!
Oh wow, I didn’t know that. I’ll have to visit again and keep an eye out for the statues all over the city. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Can i made dough a day ahead and save in the fridge😊
Hello! Yes, you can make this dough 3 days ahead of time and keep it in the fridge. Have a great day!
@@MyBakeEscape thank you for your answer.
Thank you for sharing with us your trip to the Charles Schulz museum. My favorite character is Charlie Brown.😊
Charlie Brown is great! 😊
Good grief! (I mean that in a surprising way) What a museum plus the food! 😮 Charles Schultz did a great job with the comic strip plus some of the early music composed by the late and great Vince Guaraldi and his trio.
Yes, I love the music! The food was delicious, can’t wait to visit again during the holidays.
This looks like it was DEFINITELY worth the road trip! Too bad I live in PA. Snoopy is my fav character but I can totally relate to Charlie Brown, too. 👍🏻👍🏻
Hello, it was a fun visit. Snoopy and Charlie Brown are great!
How much???? Of each????? Am i too german or did i miss the Part?!?! 😂😂😂😂

just tried today and it taste amazing!!
Bro. People don’t even KNOW.
I’ve taught myself how to bake/cook for the past 5 months and got pretty good at making doughs with yeast but now I feel like i’m going insane… yesterday while I was blooming my yeast as I normally do, it wouldn’t bloom. I thought the jar of yeast (fleischmann's yeast) was bad so I threw it away. Got out 2 unopened brand new jars and tried blooming the yeast from both of the jars 4 times. Wouldnt bloom at all! went to the store and got 2 MORE new jars and tried an additional 3 times and the yeast still would not bloom!!! Then I went to the store again and got some packets of yeast from a different brand (red star). The packet I used yesterday did bloom and double in size… but today when I used another packet, it wouldn’t bloom… I have no idea what i’m doing wrong!! I’ve bloomed yeast more than I can count and it has always turned out just fine. None of them were expired. The milk/water temp is correct as I used a thermometer. I added sugar to the mixture, I tried adding more/less of both yeast and sugar to see if it would make a difference but no.. NOTHING WORKS!! I’ve tried everything to a total of 12 times! I feel like i’m going crazy so please help me!
Hi, I’m sorry to hear you’ve had such a challenging experience. It sounds like you’re doing everything right. I would consider using another thermometer or test your current thermometer. It might be giving you an inaccurate read. You can do this by placing your thermometer in a glass of ice water. It should read 32 degrees F. If it isn’t registering the right temperature that could be what’s happening. I hope this helps.
WHERES THE FUCKING RECIPE YOU DUNCE
Looks delicious ✨
Thank you ☺️
Iced Lemon Cookies 2 ½ (380g) cups all purpose flour 1 ½ (325g) cups granulated sugar 1 cup (230g) unsalted room temperature butter 2 tsp. (8g) cream of tartar 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 1 tsp. (5g) baking soda 1 tsp. (5g) salt 3 tbsp. lemon zest about 1 medium lemon 1 ½ tsp. (7g) vanilla extract Icing: 1 ½ cup powdered sugar 1 ½ cup (180g) powdered sugar ¼ tsp. salt ½ tsp. (2g) vanilla extract 4 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice or juice from half a lemon 1 tsp. lemon zest Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Step 1: Mise en place: Measure out each ingredient, my recommendation is use a food scale to accurately measure. Step 2: Combine the dry ingredients: all purpose flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Sift these together, this will help make the cookie soft and perfect with no lumps. Step 3: Combine the wet ingredients. Start by creaming the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the lemon zest, and egg and egg yolk and mix together. Then mix in the vanilla extract. Step 4: Combine the dry with the wet, add the flour mixture in and mix just until combined. This will be a semi dry dough, you may have to work it a bit with a spatula or wooden spoon until it comes together. Step 5: Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges barely begin to brown slightly. Remove from the oven and let the cookies rest on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. These are absolutely delicious just like this, but I recommend making a lemon icing. Step 6: To make the icing combine 1 cup of powdered sugar, pinch of salt, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until it reaches a drizzle consistency. You can add a little more powdered sugar to make it thicker, but no more than ½ cup. Add lemon zest, mix in and drizzle over cookies, allow to set for 20 minutes and enjoy!
Thanks for this. Sorry you have to deal with rude comments. I love your graceful responses though! Good on you! 💃❤
Thank you so much! ☺️
Thanks for the video … was looking for nice chocolate sugar cookies recipe!!
Hi! I’m glad you found this video! These came out delicious. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
Diabetes anyone?

Hi! Hope you like the recipe ☺️
So incredibly elegant and beautiful, I had to subscribe right away 😍
Aww thank you so much 💕
Looks yummy. Very creative!
What are the measurements
Hello! 1 tbsp brown sugar 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp vanilla extract Pinch of salt (small pinch) A double shot of espresso and about 6 oz of oatmilk
The dough came out soooo sticky and i used the 3 1/2 cups of flour recipe asked for and even added the other 1/2 cup of flour and dough was still extremely sticky .i wont do this recipe again im sorry .
I’m sorry it does take time to work the dough it eventually gets easier to work with. Alternatively you can use a dough hook in a stand mixer.
So much time wasting
In my family it was carrots we’d leave it in the big box from Costco. But since living on my own I for the life of me cannot be trusted to remember whether I took them all out. Can’t wait to try it!!! Question you said you soaked it for five minutes does it differ on leaving it for 15 minutes instead?
Those love letter sprinkles are ADORABLE!
Those are my favorite. Who knew they were that easy to make.
I just made these but they didn’t come out right 😭
i'm trying these out this week! they look so good!
Hi! I’m excited you’re going to make these, they are very good! Hope you enjoy them as much as I do ☺️
