So all your weight is on the side with the bar. Left to right if you’re right handed, left to right if you’re right handed. Bar goes to the outside. Makes it more even.
I used Fusion Mineral paint with a microfibre roller when painting my front door. I found it helpful for the roller to be slightly damp before rolling into the paint. This paint seems to dry quickly and a dry roller seems to absorb the paint quickly resulting in more streaking.
I like using rollers for a smooth finish. I am interested in using Midnight blue Fusion Mineral paint (beautiful color) but I heard that with the darker colors you may get more streaking. Can I use Floetrol with Fusion? Fusion drys very quickly. Thanks.

Why never use a foam roller
I painted kitchen cabinet doors with a foam roller and have a lot of small bumps in the finish
I think it makes bubbles, dries bumpy.
