My new Wotancraft Pilot 3.5L has arrived (took 1 week to arrive in the UK - with no customs duties) For those interested, it fits my a7R5 with the following lenses: 1) Sigma 14-24mm 2.8, camera face down 2) Tamron 28-200mm, camera face down or lying on the side 3) Any combination of the 20-70 or 20mm or 85mm with 1 lens on the camera and 1 on the side 1) and 2) with space for the 20-70 f4 or 20mm 1.8 or 85mm 1.8 on the side using the divider provided with the bag. At the galleria de la academia I’m certain that there is.
I've checked and fin Italy there are different rules for each museum, but most of them let you bring in small bags, so this from Wotancraft would be allowed.
Basic question for me… is it venue friendly?
What do you mean with venue fiendly? It is comfortable
@@LeonardoAnchisiENG here in the state, there are certain venues that won’t allow big bags. It’s my understanding that in Europe, it needs to be A4 size. So basically Im asking if it is big enough to hold my camera but small enough to get into museums, music venues etc…

The design of the outside accessories is well, not practical or well designed.
Hi Greg, in my opinion it's well designed and you can choose where to put the accessories, according to your needs. Or you can leave the back pack naked, if you don't need any accessory.
@@LeonardoAnchisiENG just put pockets on the outside. Feels like a money grab vs function.
Well, the pro is that you can choose the layout, the cons is that you have to purchase each pocket separately and they are easy to pickpocket
What I would do is put accessories in the detachable pockets and when I go on a day trip I remove the pockets with the content I don’t need during the day.

Don't work with lumix 😢
It's a pity! In the compatibility list, Hohem reported some Lumix models that worked with this gimbal, but maybe your isn't in the list. I've found it here: storage.gimbalengine.com/app/pdf/iSteadyMT2CameraCompatibilityList.pdf Please let me know which model is your camera.
How do you get an ND or mist filter on the lens. Its 75mm and everything is designed for 77. I've tried using step up rings but it's not a good fit. Anyway advice would be helpful
All the Samyang Cine AF lenses mount 58mm filters and I got it on Amazon from K&F. Why do you say 75mm?

The filter screw on the grooves inside. On the Samyang site (www.lksamyang.com/en/product/v-af.php) please look at the specs sheet and find the line " Filter diameter". I hope I've helped you :)
You can use an adapter ring 58 to 77 then use a 77mm filter. The 75mm front thread is not for filters.
@@occidenterra1387 The black grooves inside. The silver front diameter is for Samyang manual focus and anarmorphic adapters.
Announced but not yet shipping: V-AF 1.7:1 Anamorphic adapter (manual focus). I believe that the electrical interface between the adapter and the lens will allow them working together as you change focus, which in theory should get better results across the focus range, compared to an ordinary anamorphic adapter + conventional lens.
Please let me know how it works, as it seems to be very interesting. I also wonder if you can use it with a filter on the lens.
@@LeonardoAnchisiENG The 58 mm filters *should* work with the new Anamorphic MF adapter, just as they work with the current Manual Focus adapter. I don't have 58mm filters (yet) so I haven't tested it. The filter threads are *inside* the bayonet connector for the add-on adapters, and thus should not get in the way. (Currently I use matte box filters, or a circular VND that I have adapted to slide onto the front of the Manual Focus adapter.)

@@LeonardoAnchisiENG I take back my answer about using 58mm filter with any adapter on V-AF lenses (either Manual Focus or coming Anamorphic MF). The 58mm filters stand proud of the front of the lens because of the casing holding the filter element. (Otherwise you would have a very hard time screwing them on and off!). But this will most likely interfere with the connection between the adapters and the lenses. B&H tells me that Samyang recommends matte boxes when using adapters on V-AF, if you want to add filters.

I have that gimbal and it broke on me for NO REASON. The thumb button that allows it to be free form continues to lock on me. Such a shame, because I was not even able to get it returned. I also have this Lens with a Sony FX3, I have yet to use any of them. Great video.
Hi Marc, having the gimbal broken should have been a great discomfort. Why weren't you able to return it? Have you written to the Hohem support? Please let me know because if it may happen to any of my followers or to me we can face the problem with more infos.
@@LeonardoAnchisiENG yes, I was in 2 separate countries. It happened unexpectedly without warning or me doing anything wrong. But I had to leave one country, and the gimbal behind. Then doing research, I see this problem happened with a few people.

Are two transmitters recording in stereo mode?
No, each one records in mono. If you use Dolby On app to record the audio, then you've got a stereo track, but I think it is created via software. If you use an internal TF Card, you have a mono track.
@@LeonardoAnchisiENG no no, that's not what I meant. What interests me is the recording with two transmitters, two interlocutors. Does the recording come out in stereo?
@@IMZMOTORS Sorry. The recording is not in stereo: the signals form the two transmitters are added in the receiver and you have got a mono audio with both the voices on the same channel on the smatphone app you are using to record. If you want to have a stereo effect, you have to use two different TF cards, one in each transmitter, and don't use the receiver. This way you have two mono files that you can post process putting one in the right channel and the other in the left. I hope I've been clear enough.

Yes! Using Hohem Joy app you can choose wether to trace people or objects. And as that app is free and can be used without any gimbal, you can install it and see how it work, before deciding wether to buy or not the gimbal ;)

No he probado el Feiyu y viendo las características son muy parecidos (misma carga máxima y módulo AI). Me parece que la Feiyu es un poco más grande porque tiene un asa extra, pero eso puede ser útil si el volumen no es importante para ti. No, thanks to its rigid base and to its parallelepiped shape, it stands upright. The belt is soft so it can't keep it up. :)

Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate a lot. I love the fabric and it gives me a sense of robustness. This, combined with the fact that it is waterproofed, means that it is not soft to the touch. But I don't find it rough either. However, I think it is very subjective.
Is this worth switching to from the Zhiyun Crane m3?
To be honest I haven’t tryed the Crane M3. The MT2 has the AI sensor which is great, if you need it, and it’s equipped with 3 different supports for camera, smartphone and action cam. So if you don’t need these options, keep using the Crane ;)
