This is brilliant. Thank you for taking the time out to do this. I have one I haven’t used in years and was considering buying the cinch but I have this one collecting dust so why not use it?
Agree! We use what we have…at least we do, until we find a cheaper alternative :)
Thank You! I have had this for years and probably only used it once because of the less than helpful instruction booklet!
It really is! I'm glad that this helped :)
Do you have tips on how to punch 4 holes in center of a page?
I don't, I am sorry. :(
@@onecraftchick thanks, I haven't found anything on how to do it either. Thank you
AMAZING!!!! So extremely helpful!!!
Thank you!
This was a very helpful video. Thank you!!👍🏻
I am so glad!
Great video!
Thank you, you really helped!
Glad I could help. Good luck!
Thank you. Good reminder to keeps on focus. I have the same issue with my hands. May the New Year bring joy and peace. God bless
Same to you!
I’m on bag number 3 from the Leather Store, the first I bought back in 2017 and I bought 2 this year (December 2021). My first bag has actually improved with age, so I know the other two will age just as well with proper care. I will never buy another bag from anyone but Becky, she is a true artisan with leather
I completely agree! I still have my original (this one) and it looks gorgeous, weathered and well-loved. Makes me happy every time I pull it out to use it. :)
Drink the water if you want for a real booster shot! You
1 cup water, steam basket, spinach, 2-3 min., instant release.
It seems to me that this doesn’t cut a lot of holes in the paper like a 81/2 by 11 size at once. This tool looks like it would take you FOREVER to get the holes punched and then putting the paper on the wire by hand, that is for the birds to me. Not cutting your machine down, just don’t see any use in it.
I do not disagree. However, most home/craft machines don't punch all the holes you need down an 11 size closure. And they also require that you put the wire in the holes my hand-which isn't hard. This machine will close wire binding as does the other more popular Cinch. Good luck crafting!

Just bought one of these used on eBay - great deal but no instructions… very helpful, thanks! Also LOVE the idea of using kids books for notebook covers. So cute. Might have to swing by Goodwill and see what I can find.
I hope it works for you! And good luck :) Goodwill is definitely the pace to find good 'crafting' project pieces.
This is the best explanation video available online. Thank you. 🙏
Thank you! I am glad to know it helped.
i love this thank you so much
Just saw your video and bought a bag from eBay with the same interior fabric. Just wondering if you find that your items get lost in that fabric? I have 2 checkbook covers and wallet that have a floral pattern. Wondering already if I’ll get tired of that. Thank you!
I do tend to lose things inside…but probably more because it's SO big…not necessarily because of the fabric-I LOVE the fabric. Most of my accessories are solid color-black, mustard yellow, lime green. I do hope you enjoy the bag. It is quite awesome and even now…over 5 years later-it is still in my purse rotation and has worn quite nicely. Good luck!
Finally! A video that shows me how to really use this tool. Thanks!!!
So glad to know that this helped. I hope you make some beautiful and useful projects.
Very useful - especially for the little notch
Glad to help!
Very useful video. Thank you.
So glad it helped!

Just bought one in camel..... even four years later video so helpful. :)
I hope you love it as much as I do…4-years and still going strong! :)

Thank you so much your video was the only one that was helpful amazing
You are very welcome! I am glad to have helped and hope you are making something amazing!
I have both the Cinch and Bind It All. I prefer the Cinch. It's much easier to use and the instructions are on the machine. I still will use my Bind It All but, only for smaller projects. Some people don't like how the Cinch binds but, you just have to pay attention to how far you're closing your wire.
I've noticed that too…I now have both the Cinch and The Bind-It-All. I think closing the wires on both is definitely a challenge somethings. Happy crafting!
I now have both versions of the cinch and love using them. I find it no problem closing the wires, but you do have to be careful to push it against the back and I use a piece of card to hold it in place when I cinch it. I think the holes on the cinch are too large and there is some movement in the paper afterwards. Are the Zutter holes smaller?
I think you are wasting the spinach and throwing out the most nutritious part of the vegetable. I would saute some onions and garlic first, then put the InstantPot at STEAM (no steam rack) for 3-4 min with 1 cup water. Then use SAUTE function until the water just dries out. This would be a way more nutritious dish. Also I would not use silicone for cooking.
@kilahchris Half of the nutrients are in the water.
Thank you!!!
Just bought a Zutter and totally agree. The written instructions are not good. Thank you for your Tutorial it has been really helpful to me.
Glad it was useful! It is a good machine and I'm sure I still haven't cracked all of its potential. Happy crafting!
Just got mine. A different design. I giggled and sniffed the leathery fragrance like you. I'm sooooo happy! It will outlast me.
4 years later and it is still one of my favorite purses! I still get tons of compliments on it and the "wear and tear" just makes it looks more beautiful. So glad to hear that you got one and love it!
Thank you! thank you! thank you!
You are very welcome! Hope it helped you complete a project.
Maria Malandrakis it absolutely will. 😁👍🏻
Awesome! Thank you!! I was sweating bullets! They came out perfect the first time because of your video!
Yeah! I'm so glad it helped :)
You're hilarious however this is the best instructions I have viewed for this machine.
Thanks! I am glad I could add some comic relief and help at the same time!
Putting any plastic, silicone, anything not stainless in a high pressure, high heat steamer is a no no. You can get a stainless steel steam kit depending on insta pot size on Amazon. :)
Why?
Greg C the silicone steam bowl I bought says its for the instant pot.
Thank you so much for sharing this video! Your instructions are way easier than the instruction manuel by far! :) Great job!
Thank you! I'm glad it's helpful-reading the instruction manual gets a thumbs down.
You could use that water to make rice with too. The rice will take on some of the spinach flavor as well.
You should NOT consume this water! It is high is oxalic acid and blocks absorbtion of minerals. See this article or look up Nourishing Traditions. www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/should-vegetable-cooking-water-be-saved/
Very worst pressure cooker because of this sealing ring and they don't change it to another design and it is totally waste the time
Try 1 cup boiled water, half cup white vinegar, 2 Tbsp. baking soda, and 2 Tbsp. lemon juice. That's how I soak mine. Or If I steam it in the pot, I use 1 cup tap water, plus the other same stuff. Set time 5 minutes, full natural release. NO Scrubbing Required. That is how I freshen and clean stains from my pots. You will have better results
Susan: if you steam it in the instant pot I assume you do it with the seal on, you can't steam with it soaking in the water, correct? I love your suggestion and I will definitely try it!
H! I’m very close to purchasing this bag. Would you mind sharing a video of the bag with contents? Also, does it work crossbody with the long strap? Thanks!

No offense intended ma'am, but I only watched the first 3 min. It seems like a great video. I'm not going to do your procedure, not yet anyway. I got my IP Ultra 6 qt about a month ago. I noticed the smelly ring after using the pot a few times. I made several batches of yogurt, the odor did not pass to the yogurt that I could tell, but still, I got into the habit of pulling the ring, putting the top back on the pot and hanging the ring on a handle to air out, since the odor was persisting. Tonight I chopped some potatoes and two onions, added a whole bulb of peeled garlic cloves and steamed the mix using a basket with 2 C of water in bottom of pot. I used the Steam preset at high pressure for 4 minutes (temp is not available in the preset), using instant release at end of the cooking cycle. When I was cleaning the pot and removed the ring I noticed that there was ZERO odor in the ring! What's up with this? Onions and garlic are surely the main cause of the odor in the first place! I am saying the ring literally smells like a new one and most of the golden discoloration is gone as well! My conclusion is that this has something to do with the steam function and I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing or can offer an explanation. A really good tip for users desiring to get rid of the smelly ring odor might be to put 2 C of water into their pot, then simply turn pot on and steam at high pressure for a while, using instant release at the end. More experimenting is warranted!!
No offense taken. I have noticed that if I just wash my seal and let it dry and NOT seal my Instant Pot when I store it…any lingering odor (after washing) goes away. I like your idea of steaming as a 'quick' odor eliminater…maybe with a little lemon. Especially if you need to do back to back savory food and then yogurt.
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I decided to have a look on UA-cam before studying the instructions because I often have difficulties to understand the manuals. And you did a great job, showing me exactly what I needed to do in a simple understanding mannor!
Thank you! I am so glad it was helpful.
I tried the white vinegar 2 cups with 2 cups water with a lemon 🍋 rind on Sterilization on Instapot Ulta for a cycle - it worked, but I had to run a cycle after of plain water after..... I still ordered a new set of rings because I want to bake cakes 🎂 and make yogurt! So, will also try your longer 24hr soak of just lemon juice and baking soda :)
Thanks for the comment, Suzan! I haven't gotten to getting an additional ring, but honestly, I cook all sorts of savory/spicy stuff in my Instant Pot and have just turned around with no real extra cleaning and made yogurt. There has been no negative effect (taste or smell) on my yogurt. I haven't tried a cake yet but it is definitely on my list!
Why are the instructions difficult to understand? If your paper or cardstock isn't an even number of inches, get a ruler and find out where the middle is. Draw a line down the middle of the first page, line it up with the line on the Bind-It-All with a number of other sheets and punch. There is also a way to avoid punching to the very end as, if you are left with only a little card or paper after the last hole, you may weaken it over time. Try and avoid punching one sheet of paper at a time or your holes will be uneven and use the long bar on the side to keep your card or papers in place while you punch by pulling it out as long as your cardstock or paper and securing it with the lever. You are welcome.
Thanks. I love to just drink the pot water.
I never thought of that! Do you just drink it plain or add some additional flavors to it? I bet it would be good in a smoothy or to boil pasta. :)
My grandpa called it pot liquor
What a crafty ideas with the measuring spoons. I like it.
Thanks! This system has worked well for us.
Thanks for the great tutorial.
