I can say these 2 were connected. I understood too why she felt so safe, or any pairs skater. David tripped over a chair trying to shake hands with me after SOI (US) and he had hold of my hand…I’ll never forget that grip he had on my hand over just a small thing.

Such good dancers. Hard to find skaters who can do hip hop without looking awkward. Adorable and well acted out. I wish the camera work was better.

Interesting to re-view this during the season. By the time they reached 2011 WC, it was much more complex and emotional; and they became the first American ice-dance duo to win Gold Medal at Worlds! (And then they won Gold again in 2013, with a fantastic program, and never stopped winning until they won Gold at the 2014 OG.....I think this was the start of them pushing themselves to do more complex dances, instead of "Phantom of the Opera" (which was my least favorite program of theirs -- just my own personal opinion!) And a lot of people forget that they won Gold at 5 Grand Prix Finals in a row.
