      Hello, and thank you for your comment, as well as for catching the misspelling in the title (now corrected). Crafting a description that truly captures the essence of this performance was no small task, but it's a labor of love. This ballet video holds a special place in my heart; it's undoubtedly my favorite. If you enjoyed it, I'd be grateful if you could share it with others. Our aim is to spread awareness of Detlef's remarkable work and life to a wider audience. Detlef's incursion into Ballet came as a result of WW2 when tragedy stroke his family. His father was forced into military service and sent to the Russian front. He never returned. His mother, who sought to provide him with purpose beyond adversity and to keep him busy after school, enlisted Detlef in Ballet classes. He soon discovered solace and purpose in ballet. What began as an escape from harsh realities evolved into a lifelong dedication. While I'm merely a friend, I felt compelled to suggest to him to sharing these artistic treasures with the world. Expect more uploads featuring historic performances and some of Detlef's current Ballet Classes. Despite his age, Detlef remains incredibly active and passionate about his craft.     Very interesting version, also with Act 3 the original pas de deux and pas de six music.The choreography reminds me a bit of those by Nurejev and Bourmeister, yet, still an unique ending version here. I love the staging and the high quality and dramatic expression of the lead dancers
