Just got this exact version, even with the same paint. Except I got the upgraded sound system. Best purchase ever. Super slow but saving a fortune on gas and maintenance. Plus that 10 year warranty for the powertrain is ridiculously good. Great first car for anybody. Or a great car for someone who just wants a reliable commuter.

These are marketed for the Central & South American market. North America likes their pickups big so this would not be a great seller much like the Rabbit pickup was. VW also supplies versions for Chevrolet & Ram and each brands have a couple of trim packages of their own and a couple of body versions. The one shown is one the most basic trim so not impressive by any stretch of the imagination. But it gets the work done.

Heck If these were available in Canada I'd trade my Ford Maverick in for one.

No sound

in city driving under low load it uses little to zero boost pressure unless you really dig deep on the throttle, its very fuel efficient and the 2L DI motor has a lot of torque off idle even without turboboost assist. I just drove one for a week in San Diego, cruises effortlessly at 90+mph in 9th gear!!
