When was your visit? Was this visit in 2024 or 2023? You seem to have few overcast and rainy days so I assume this trip happened in 2023. I wonder what would be the best time to visit the Maldives for dry sunny days. Thank you. Appreciate it.
It was last month, mid Feb 2024. There are apparently rainy and less rainy seasons, but even in the less rainy season (which our trip was in), it still can rain often. When it does rain though it rains hard and quickly, it’s also pretty windy so the weather changes fast. Just part of the experience, I loved it!
The sun is VERY intense too, so I welcomed some shade. Especially when snorkeling, the sun is even more intense on your skin under water
@@tessaw744 Good to know that it could be rainy in Feb too... I thought it was their dry season but afterall not. Am glad you still had lot of fun. To be honest I would prefer sunny days over overcast days on my vacation due to us not getting to enjoy sunshine and warm climate in Toronto from Nov to April.
