You are the one doing the challenge, but I think so much armor ruins the rolls. I am at the start of my sl1 run, almost defeated them at my first try, did it at my third. Loved that skip where you fall to the door without fighting the enemies.
Yeah i know how the armor makes you roll slower and stuff but never really mind i couldnt get the peasant set at that point so i wore whatever

This is definitely one of those polarizing bosses that you either find a cakewalk or they are your lanky, awkward, white whales. I struggle at least a little with this fight each time as a 99 arcane build.
