My 2006 automatic Accord did this last night. We had a lot of weight in the car climbing up a hill. While going freeway speeds, once id gas it nearing 3k rpm, it would drop to 2k. Today, i drove it by myself to see if it would do it again and didnt have that problem. From a dead stop to full acceleration nor freeway speeds, it drove well. Im going to have to run a diagnostic on it.

This might be my issue

You should put the drive down before you start the engine. It will save a lot of wear and tear on the U joints. I can actually hear them binding up in there.

You should always put the prop down when running the bunny ears.

I have 1.8 vtec accord and it works normal on LPG but on benzine it does the 3k thing... Any advice ?

Replace your VVT solenoid. I have the same porblem on my 2006 honda accord 2.4L engine.

Happen to my 2018 Sliverado. Change the Thermostate and the sensor next to it. Fix mine in about 20 min.

I live and work on this lake. Number 1, it's not a river. It is the channel between the lakes. The water is clear in the spring and the fall. The stupid wake board boats chew up the bottom and cloud the water mid summer. They should be limited to the main body of the lake only. Regardless, great vid dude!

The gauges would sweep and then fan would run at full speed. Changed temp sensor and connector tx3s or tsc200, but nothing unhooking the battery for 10 seconds did it... so it's a failing smart junction box but what one?

My Murano has been doing this for years but at 4000rpm. Time to fix this baby!

Well when that happens to me it was kuz a axle seal was ripped and I fixed it it don't do that no more anybody else could be idle air control or sensor with the air ratio or like what I just mentioned

Wish I had seen this post a month ago. I've got 16 hours into trying to save the joists and remove the decking. Old carpenter doing it the old-fashioned way, learning new tricks.

Did you pour cement down the tube also?

Idk what the fuck my problem is then I have an aftermarket intake too and it smells like my cars running way way too rich on fuel when it is in. It sits at a perfect idol and starts up first crank. But once I give it a little gas it sounds like my intake is trying to suck in all the air in our atmosphere and it just wants to bog itself out anywhere near 2k rpm. OBD give me three codes, one for my O2 sensor (my cat is fucked but usually my car wouldn’t smell as rich as it does now) one code saying I have too much barometric pressure in my intake and something else about air. I replaced my fuel rail and injectors, I’ve replaced all three air sensors, and even cleaned out my intake. And still nothing helped.

Trying to get motivated to build this now… I have it… just not feeling confident at all 😂😭

Crazy! After 3-4 try’s doing the 15 min w/key on- nothing. So I put the passenger window up an down. Started right up. I’ve had a short in that switch for some time. Ordered a new one right away. Thank you for you suggestion!
