McLaren M10B David Hobbs 1971 F5000 car started for the first time in 25 years

Rick and I rented a Twizy from Scoot in SF and drove it around for a bit. I captured some GoPro POV video footage of the drive for you to enjoy. It was a hella fun car. The cost makes it a great option for the American city dweller, and its size makes for excellent city maneuverability.

I'm taking off on a 20-day 6440-mile road trip across the USA. Reno - Las Vegas - Scottsdale - Austin - Birmingham - Greenville - Baltimore - Cleveland - Kalamazoo - Omaha - Denver - Salt Lake City - Reno Clothes, camping supplies, spare parts, food, and more. It's all going in this old 912E. Will it fit? Will I live? Will the car?

I have replaced my old sealed beam headlights with a new set of Sylvania LED headlights. This is a side-by-side comparison between the two. The video doesn't show how bright the LEDs really are. When I switch to high beams, it's like daylight. Check out how much earlier you can see roadside signs with the LED bulbs versus the old bulbs. Thanks for watching.

Just installed a Deltran Battery Tender LiFePO4 battery in my 1997 Porsche Boxster (2.5 liter flat six, 5-speed). This battery setup saves nearly 38 pounds over the lead - acid battery it replaces.

Terrible quality, original GoPro footage. Driving my 1997 Porsche Boxster in C Stock on 380 Treadwear tires. First time out in the car, just bought it a month ago, and I'm trying to get a baseline. I went to the wrong side on the option slalom, and that cost me at least a second on this run.
