Behringer - Deepmind 12 [Rack - Version] (Sequenced / In Context)
Behringer's Deepmind, is polyphonic but mono - timbral. It's build as an six - voice and twelve - voice version. Very nice, is the option, to detune all voices against each other.
Four - or two - pole filter and a high - pass filter, inbuilt effects (played two times, just to remind you, that they are there), two oscillator (sawtooth, pulse / square), mod - matrix, two LFO, three envelopes (ADSR), sequencer and arpeggiator.
The Deepmind is providing a analog signal - path, but the effects are digital and can be used as inserts or mixed up with the analog signal.
Classic MIDI - trio ( 5 - pole with in / out / thru) which is very cool, USB (no audio) and a WiFi - interface, which is also very cool.
That the Deepmind, is needing a fan to cool it's circuits, is a weak point.
There are additional instruments, to give it a logical context.

Is it possible to get a “natural” analogue kind of sound out of this thing? Like a Hammond organ bass. I’m looking to use it as a bass guitar replacement in a old school rock band. I just need a very simple deep sound with almost no attack. Thanks! …A video would be ace!!
Get a sampler or romper. If you have an iPhone or an iPad you can find one either free or dirt cheap. This is a bass synthesiser, it’s not built to model acoustic instruments, it’s made to make bass lines for electronic music.

That's really nice. What have you got it connected to for the drums? I've got a ton of vst's and model cycles. But I'm really tempted to get this and somehow hook it up to Ableton 10. Have you still got it and use it? Would you recommend it. Thank you.
The sequencing is coming from a DAW. The drums are Korg - Volca Kick and Akai - Rhythm Wolf (snare and hi hat). Also a Volca Bass and a MAM MB - 33 Retro. It's still in use and surely a recommendation. Sometimes, connecting synthesizer via USB, will be resulting in a nasty ground loop. Especially, if they are getting power throught it. There is no other way, to power the CraftSynth 2.0 up (except using batteries) I prefer the regular (DIN) connection. Or you can use a USB - isolator.

I know this is an old video but i wanted to see if you are still answering questions. I've owned my BS since 1993. I don't remember how to solve this problem. I have the midi TX & RX set correctly and midi controller works just fine. I hear a note that continues to play at a low volume even after i release the note that i'm playing. I've messed with the parameters and can't find a solution. Can you or anyone familiar with this help me out? I would really appreciate it. I have other analog gear but i'm stumped with this one. Thank you.
Never experienced that. If it's not the sustain / relase setting of one of the envelopes, i've no clue. I assume, you are hearing the same note, which was played last!? Or is or a different note? Any difference, between playing on internal keyboard and / or through MIDI?
@@synthesizerandstudio9824 Thank you so much for the quick reply. It is the same tone/note it's just a lower volume. I did try using internal keys (midi) & controller keys and it's the same. I also tested if it's the output signal to my interface or headphones same result. Then tried batteries, different power supply and same result, i'm stumped.
Okay, sound's weird.. i'll think about it, but if not connected to anything while playing internal and the problem shows up, is pointing into a unusual direction. Is it possible, to edit the low sound? Or is it stucked? If you have the chance, to record a quick video, i'd like to take a look.

It's a Korg - Volca Bass. The Deepmind, does not provide any split - points. It's strictly mono - timbral.
Great video. Been thinking about adding a deepmind to my Deluge and Se-02. The 12 can still be found at great deals but I would prefer a desktop, and their availability seems to be drying up.
The Deepmind is really powerful and easy to handle. Leads, Pads, Bass.. always solid sounding, done in no time. They are deserving a specified video.

Thank you! The Bass - Drum is a Volca Kick. The Bass Station Mk 1, has a huge sweetspot. It's like sonic sugar.

This is my first volca (and only so far) , I got it since january and still learning all it´s sounds
It's, also, impressive if you use it, for lead - sounds. The oscillator are fine, clean and elegant, when pitched high. I've seen, a video, where every oscillator was used, in a different sequence and octave. Amazing.

Yes, they are great. Except, the connection - sockets. They are placed unfortunate.
