Not 100% true. Switching to Windows based system is more versatile which allows the use of powerpoint and google slides. As well as any other programs that are Windows compatible. If anything like my HS, we were told to use different programs just so we learned both. This including learning Mac's(HS was 99% pc based). This was also over 20yrs ago. That all said, Chromebooks can run Office Suites, it's the teachers not versed in technology that don't know these things. Our educators are uneducated in the tech world.

Not really sure how you guys define "Leadership" but after a 20 year military career with successful wartime leaders I can confirm what Jason Forcier is doing at SVP worldwide is not leadership. It is at best 'management.' No one knows what is going on or why, what our next steps are or what the overall goals are. There is no communications from the puzzle palace and no clear direction disseminated. But we are cutting lots of things. Costs will definitely go down short term but will the company survive long term or does 'leadership' actually care about that? Leadership is NOT 'Do this because I said so. No, I am not going give any valid reason for removing a popular program that does not cost the company any money. Nor am I going to stand up at a company town hall and put my face on this, You sell it to the working class, and if they don't like it they can leave. Now I have to get back to my home office.' (SVP Return to the office program). True leadership in this would acknowledge the success we had in the pandemic - going from a 33% market share to a 38% market share IS success especially in a shrinking market. True leadership would bring in the leadership team to the office FIRST and after demonstrating the 'improved communications' desired, (commonly called 'Lead by example), stand up in front of everyone and say straight up "we are doing this. Our executive team and I have modeled this for the past 60/90 and we concur that is help foster communication and teamwork' Speaking of teamwork - Leadership is standing up in front of everyone and saying - 'Here is where we are as a company. Here is where we need to be. Here is how we want to get there. Here is your part of the process' Say that to the company, break out the goals by executive department. But silence and mass influx of unknown people with unknown roles and unknown goals is NOT leadership or teamwork. If we don't know the goal and who does what, how do we work together to get there? Leadership is not "SVP's Belief" anything. That should be 'I believe for this demonstrated reason' The CEO is NOT SVP. If you say it, OWN it. At this point there is massive internal doubt and confidence in our new CEO who seems to be throwing all of the SVP Worldwide values into the trash while throwing all the SVP Worldwide employees into the wind. Mr. Golden Parachute is giving us all a golden shower. Lets just hope that a 150+ year old globally respected company does not die from the leadership vacuum while the mass exodus of experience accelerates.
