i regret to contradict, i do not think we hear a true Kyoto dialect in this clip. it sounds more like Osaka than Kyoto Yamamoto Fujiko speaks a good Kyoto accent in this movie. i guess she could master it because she spent her student days in Kyoto and had relatives there too. besides, she is very intelligent where is she? i would love to see clips with her in them because she is sooo pretty this is just pure subjectivity, but i cannot think of a more beautiful japanese actress than Fujiko
佐分利信、北竜二、笠智衆氏、中村伸郎氏。 特に大好きな中村伸郎氏の佇まいが堪りません。 他の小津さんの中村伸郎氏も独特な味わいで何度観ても痺れます。 個人的には晩年まで独り芝居をやられてて一度でも舞台で観劇したかったです！ 時間は待ってくれません。 観たかったなぁ〜。 😥

小津監督大好き人間です❕冒頭のシーンは「淑女は何を忘れたか」の「飯田蝶子さんが、狐の襟巻き」姿で、訪れるシーン😮又人間ドックの浪花千枝子さんのシーンも、他の小津作品に出て来ます🎉面白いです❕
