I was there back in 1989, my father took me over there to see the Golden Eagle. My family is from Webster Springs WV Webster County I spent my summer's on Grassy Creek at Dad's place. Over the years I have wondered what happened to the store. I live in Missouri and have not been home since my folks passed

I remember sitting on the porch talking with Joe Harper every time we'd come to visit, I still carry the knife that he gave me years ago. The Front Porch Restaurant had the best pizza anywhere...great memories. I love Seneca Rocks and Pendleton county, it's more home to me than where I grew up.
