Hey! I also have oily skin, but I haven’t experienced severe acne issues from using moisturizer and sunscreen. However, when my skin gets extra oily, I do a few things that help control it. At night, I like to wash my face with Multani Mitti because it really helps absorb excess oil. You can try using it too, especially at night, since our skin tends to produce more oil while we sleep. Try applying Multani Mitti every night or every alternate night to control the oil. During the day, you can wash your face 2-3 times with a gentle, oil-controlling face wash-just make sure it doesn’t dry out your skin completely. You want it to feel soft but not oily. Diet plays a huge role too, so it might be worth looking into foods that naturally help reduce oil secretion. Staying hydrated is key-drink plenty of water and include a balanced, healthy diet. If you’ve tried all of this for about a month and don’t see any changes, it’s a good idea to consult a dermatologist who can give you more personalized advice. Also, if you’re not already doing some light exercise, that can help as well. I’ve noticed my skin improves when I stay active!
