Great presentation, Claire!
My father grew up next door to the Tiffany Factory in Corona. Interesting to see the photo of the factory which I remember from visits to my grandparents. Brings back memories.
Fantastic windows. Plating really works. I have used it. Too bad the church had to sell the windows. They deserve to remain where they were originally installed. At least they will be all together and for public view for a long time. No one can actually reproduce that glass to this day. It sparkles and the colors are so both subtle and intense depending on the need. That is the advantage of having his money and controlling the entire process along with being able to hire the best in the world and putting them all in one place. It was the Skunk Works of art.
Why she does not have gloves and wear a hat during work with so old & sensitive masterpiece?
You & your work still just continually amaze me.
My uncle franz

Grateful for this exhibition!!!
I would like to know when is your next workshop I am staying in Atlanta Georgia
incredible work.
The imagination is our subconsciousness coming to the surface. A good piece of art will pull back the veil between the conscious and subconsciousness mind of the viewer.
Very informative video. We use it for Ajrak dying
Wow! Very cool! I'm glad I watched this video. I am also a Northampton HS graduate and yet don't recall this painting. Any idea where it was hung in the schools over the years?
to answer the question posed in the title 'he had good luck with propagnda.'

Going to be so fun! I’ve got a packed weekend, or I would be there! Have a wonderful time!
I hope all museums leave their Rembrandts alone, and do not get the disastrous idea of "cleaning to discover the original colors", which so often means ruining great works by removing subtle and beautiful tones and glazes probably applied deliberately by the great artist. This is my pet peeve with conservators. Once great works of art are destroyed, that's it, cannot be undone.
Thanks, somehow his paintings always draw me in and I can connect with the persons portrayed.
no touchy
Beautiful and skilled. You are a nature masterpiece too.

Herbal supplements have existed for thousands of years and can be traced over several different cultures. For now herbs are being used to cure diabetes, herpes, chronic pain, asthma, Ovarian Cyst and even HIV. I like herbs so much. Most of the time, the injection and the drug are only a waste of duration. I was cured of HIV last year with the use of herbs, I suffered from HIV for 13 years, but with the help of DR. Sani Hassan Herbal Medicines, I was cured in a few weeks of using the herbs he sent me by Courier Delivery Service. I don't know the kind of health challenges you are facing right now, but I can assure you that you will be alright if you contact Dr. Sani Hassan and explain your problems to him,and your problems will be resolved within a few weeks. Contact Dr. Sani Hassan by his e-mail address: perfectherbalcure@gmail.com or reach him via WhatsApp number: +2348118184266
I see several Eastman Johnson signatures hidden throughout the work. The most obvious in in the frizz at her right temple on the left. He did hundreds of these in his 5 years on the continent 1859-1854. The work being auctioned in London by Sotheby's this week is equally fake. Has several signatures and identifies the sitter as George Henry Hall, staring in his hair and going all across the face (obvious H on the left side of the nose as you look at it. e on the tip of the nose, etc. Also says E.J.'s 8 th Lover on the chin. Hall accompanied Johnson to Europe. His 4th lover, author Theodore Woolsey Winthrop crossed the Atlantic twice to see him in Germany and to travel through Holland, France, London.
Remarkable that this is revealed as a Rembrandt while I cannot find any confirmation from an authority like Ernst van de Weteringen on the painting, feels fishy
Any one is watching this video because of school
We loved putting this together for the Allentown Art Museum! Always a fun time!

I am pleased to call Angel my friend and so proud of him!
I had the pleasure of covering this event as press and I learned so much about the film industry. Sidra and the entire cast/ panel were welcoming and had so much fun discussing and networking. I
Interesting
When I think of African-American art, I think of brilliant street graffiti (far more creative than Banksy)... When I think of them in the contemporary galleries, I only envision Basquiat. Anyway, I hope that one day the African-American visual art would as influential as the African-American *music*
My dad would go to NY from DC every now and then in the 60s to see his childhood friend Franz Kline .He told me about the mural and how Lehighton was such a special place before WWII producing so many talented and productive people.
@@AllentownArtMuseum Will make it a priority in the area. Dont get there much. Live in TX. My dad did not share a lot but definitely talked about the mural and Franz. Always wondered about it and glad it foundnd a great home with people who care

Harry was by no means deaf. Not sure where you got that one. He was sharp as a knife in every way up until his death.
