Hey, I'm part of a German student team developing a rover from scratch right now. Can you tell me maybe about the motors and gears you used on your rover arm?

This "URC" should use the logo: "Which of these six wheeled rovers is going to get stuck in the Martian sand first?"

my inner Vulcan concludes that once Humanity has deployed a Mars rover and set up a colony on the red planet there would be future teams working on a "Europa Rover" and a "Titan Rover"!

Your rover looks amazing! I wish you all the best for the URC. If you want to go for another challenge after URC, check out the Anatolian Rover Challenge! Mars and Moon missions with a unique story! Anatolian Rover Challenge (ARC) is in July 21st-25th. The ARC is compatible with the URC and ERC rovers. Besides the ARC covers accommodations of your team in Istanbul, Turkey! The due date for ARC applications is May 20th. As the ARC organization team, we look forward to your application to ARC. Hope to meet with you where the two continents meet!

Very clear, the rover looks pretty powerful. If you want another challenge after URC, check out the Anatolian Rover Challenge and try Mars and Moon missions in July. ARC is compatible with URC and ERC rovers, and covers accommodations of your team in Istanbul, Turkey! Arc applications due May 20th.

Looking at this video I see long term weak points in the loop suspension system joints, throw I see you have spent more time with software, then on system design. I would have built and antenna tracker for your base station which are used with FRP radio controlled aircraft.

I've been wondering about whether LIDAR would be practical for the autonomous mission. It's cool to see that another team has implemented it! Looks like you guys had a great rover last year, it's too bad the competition was cancelled :( -USU's Mars rover team
