Can the DAM music!!
I cannot get that barrel bushing out to save my life. I don’t know what to do.
What base plate did you use
Dam,good,gun,1
whats the best place to get parts online for one of these
Like and subscribe Sir! Salt of the earth right here. Awesome video. Broke the mainspring on my bounty hunter. Looking for a new one. Any ideas? Thanks for the video!
I bought the sane gun but it won't fire and the bolt is very hard to pull back would you happen to know why?
Misspelled airbrush lol. I ducking love this guy… “it’s always something”
Can you tell me what picatinny base you installed on the TriStar? I will be getting a TriStar Raptor 20ga in a week and would like to install a base for optics on it. Thank you!
I've tryed several CLP's but go back to Hoppe's #9
Sir, May I ask what solvent you use to clean the barrel. Thanks so much for this video. I have enjoyed it. I am really looking at buying one of these.
I enjoyed you video, sir. 🇺🇸
Is the music really necessary?
Hello I'm Pedro from brazil, and I have one ERMA EP 22 Luger from germany too, but I don't have the original magazine, so I'm working to build it. Can you help me giving the measurements for the perfect fittment? Thank you so much.
Thank you for this video. You helped me to realize I was over oiling my firearm. Good information. All the best.
When Arminus first started importing these they were called the "Hombre" ... Now that EAA imports them they are called the "Bounty Hunter" ... I own 5 of them, 4 in .44 Mag and one .357 Mag and all have proven to be good pistolas. They will take some Colt aftermarket parts like the Wolf hammer & trigger springs for Colt SAA ... I hope you kept that as she will do you good as a hunter or plinker. When I have one on the night stand I load it with 200 GR LFN .44 Russian Cowboy Action loads as it has very little flash, noise or kick, even less than .44 Special and when I carry one as a trail gun in bear country I load it with full house 310 GR bear loads. Thank you for the video & God bless
exelente video a have a chiapa m22 bereta clon, too gretings from monterrey mexico.
My Ruger 22/45 Mark IV is a JAMMING MACHINE. Ever since I took it out of the Box, it jams at least once on every magazine full. I can clean it SURGICALLY CLEAN and it will still JAM. I have used Federal 22 LR, American Eagle LR, Aguilla LR, Remington LR, and others, it does NOT make any difference which brand I use, it does the same thing every time. If I shoot six magazines full, it will jam 5 to 7 times. That is UNACCEPTABLE. I am 70 years old, been shooting since I was a little boy, never seen anyhting like this. I own OTHER Ruger Products that I like. But this one is going BACK to the factory. BB
Dude that’s par for the course on any rim fire semi auto pistol.
I’ve owned this gun for over 5 years. It’s a good plinker but you have to expect malfunctions. Just eject and go on to the next round. These aren’t reliable home defense weapons. They’re just very dangerous toys to have fun with.
Cci mini mags😮
Which holster do you use
What models are compatible with these revolvers? I need a chest holster for my 7.5 in barrel 44mag
Love your accent and wise vernacular. Very informative, because I just put down on one, brand new condition but on consignment, as a layaway for me at $399.99, $416 total when paid. It is nice to have a budget 44 Magnum revolver for once. Finally!
I believe the wait time is 5 seconds not 5 min. on the sig sauer. Now my ? to you is the tax stamp to be paid yearly?
P.S. I have a sig scope on mine but still hold the off button on top for 5 seconds to shut it off just in case.
That's fucking nasty. Why not spend 5 dollars on a new wax ring atleast?
Amazing. How doesn’t this have more views. Nice work!
What did you put under the front sight there, that white thing that went under it?
Thank you for posting! I have had my Erma LA22 for 40+ years, it was a Christmas present from my folks when I was a high school kid. Yesterday I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled it. Had you right there on the table with me so I wouldn't miss anything!!
Hello Tim, I'm from brazil, and here it's not so easy to find one of that but have one ERMA EP 22 Luger from germany too, but I don't have the original magazine, so I'm working to build it. Can you help me giving the measurements of the original magazine or something like that? thank you
@@TIMWHY2 sure, I have this on my favorite list, but there aren't any option to ship it directly to brazil. I need to find anyone to help me receiving in the usa and post to brazil.
@@TIMWHY2 Thats why im just trying to have the measurements, my father can build it, if we couldnt buy
Mine doesn’t cycle properly. I won’t eject the shells and the last time I tried to fire it, it wouldn’t shoot the last round. Firing pin was alright and all that.
Great video! Is the trigger/hammer/hand etc. same as on the Colt´s? Heard that these are closer copy's of Ruger (transfer bar etc.) than anything else. Just slightly bigger than standard Colt SAA to cope with magnum loads. But i know guy´s who changed that leaf spring to the trigger/cylinder stop with a Colt item. Perhaps they are sort of a mitch match. Cool German guns that don´t break the bank.
they advertise these as 7.5” is yours 6.75”?
I have a Erma la 22 that my dad left me the only thing I'm missing is the magazine... Do you know where I can buy a magazine?
My brother has one of these, great rifle. I have a Ruger PC Carbine in 9mm which comes apart the same way. Neat!
Interesting pistol ... comes apart oddly compared to other 1911s. I own a couple 1911s in .45 acp and a GSG 1911 in .22 which also comes aprt a little oddly but not as oddly as the one you have if that makes sense. Fun stuff either way ... I liked how the GSG I own came with 5 different front sights in different heights as well as a threaded barrel should one want a suppressor as to not annoy your neighbors, etc. It's good.
The Erma semiauto pistols were made of a cast metal material and could not be blued. Instead, they were applied with a black paint material. Watching you bang the barrel on the parts tray made me grit my teeth but, yours customers Erma had already suffered finish wear. I must admit, I use too much oil but, I will sometimes not fire one of my guns for years with the large collection in my safe, See my Erma La22 rework videos on youtube for common factory flaws.
Awesome video! Very informative!
hello, what king of front and rear sights are mounted on the pistol ? Thx
I am one happy winner ☺️ thanks Bill !
Hey there question on the safety. My buddy gave me his to work on and it had none of the safety parts. I ordered the safety lever, spring, ball, and the bar but because I have no reference I have no idea how they are supposed to go in/interact with each other. Thanks
good job Bill ,take care God bless ,from Malta
Thank you, I will
Good job Bill! You always do a great job!!!!
My dad just gave me his, and the sear pin or nub whatever is broken. I’m going to order the replacement parts and try to fix it. I’m a novice at gunsmithing, but I think I can do it.
Follow the video if you run into any trouble!
Thanks! Got one from a friend who could never make it work! I have a bunch of new parts and I'm stubborn, so with any luck at all I'll get her working right!
Powder made her debut lol congratulations to the lady who won.
Good video nice revolver and good guitar at end of show
That's my brother who wrote and is playing that. I'll let him know!
Hey Bill, great video! I already know you did a great job (Mr. Perfection). You you soon my friend. Peace
Great video Bill. Hope you feel better soon.
How do you remove the safety a friend of mine happens to have the same pistol and the spring is hanging out because somebody did not put the little ball bearing back in either. Do you have an extra baby ball bearing that you want to sell?
Remove the grip on the safety side. The lever coming from the trigger that pushes up the seer, pull it down and pull the little lever down, and then the safety should pull out enough to put a bearing in there. If you're not able to do that, send it to me and I'll take a look. You can find my phone number on the beginning of any of my videos.
@@shadetreegunsmithingandlea6500 thank you do you offhand know the diameter of the little ball bearing that fits between the safety and the detent holes?
I just uploaded three Erma LA22 rework videos, one of them shows how simple it is to replace the ball bearing.
@@HippieDave351 cant find your vids
I had removed the videos because of wankers making comments,,,, The spring replacement with the ball bearing is easy. Field strip the frame, remove the left grip, you will see two straight slot screws holding the safety assy. in place,,,, remove the screws and slide the assy. up but not out of the frame.... Now you can remove the safety lever. The ball bearing is a standard 1/8" bearing available at any bicycle shop or perhaps even NAPA auto parts... Numrich usually has the spring, if not get back to me and I can steer you in the right direction. Regards, David
Love the hat Bill
Good video, thanks buddy.
Very interesting Bill.
Great job Bill and another appearance of the lil pecker lol
