Considering I played the Crossbell arc after Cold Steel I already knew about Rixia being Yin but it was revealed to the player rather early nevertheless (which I thought to be a bit bad for the writing in retrospect) but she really really grew on me in those games and Reverie. She made friends in Crossbell which she thought would not be possible for her as Yin but over time she realised that she didn't have to reduce herself to that of an assassin but could be a normal person as well. I think she had the most growth during the Crossbell games (well it's kinda hard to tell since I like every character and Tio also grew a lot) Also Lloyd with the "the moon is beautiful tonight" line (although I don't know the Japanese way of saying it but I trust the translators of Geofront) threw me off guard. Starting a conversation like this was probably another way of pointing him as hella unaware of romantic things

Rixia and Lloyd are made for each other. Burning sun and silver moon. Rixia saved Lloyd’s life, and Lloyd saved Rixia’s soul.

Rixia is the best in Azure. Perfect look, fantastic background story, excellent damage crafts, and can be dodge tank while still maintaining an extremely strong melee attack near end game

The end part reminds me to one of the best moment in Sky where Estelle hugged the crying Joshua in SC Chapter 6, but gender reversed! it's so good!

Time for Lloyd to break through the age barrier

For this once I dont disagree with the game's canon choice. The way they handled Alisa in Cold Steel 3 still irks me though

We need a Lloyd and Rixia kiss scene if there is not one already. I appreciate that Falcom kind of leaves it open so that we can decide which of the ladies we want him with.

One thing that I can't find online that I would absolutely love to see is a compilation of the conversations between Lloyd and Guy based off whoever you picked as your bonding partner. I made multiple save files to see all of the Merkabah scenes and proceeded with Elie, as that felt the most canon to me, but I didn't realize Guy changes his dialogue based off your partner. He and Lloyd referred to her as Lloyd's special someone, but then I replayed the ending on UA-cam because I fell asleep, and that dialogue was more neutral. Now I want to know what he has to say about Noel, Randy, and everyone else.

Daw, I agree with the fortune teller, they do make a cute pair even if they aren’t as canon/popular as Elie or Rixia.

the only thing I dislike from azure is that ellie's conflict is somewhat shown as less important than the other heroine. She is really really endearing in Zero. I like this final bonding moment, but they really keep us waiting. In Zero, her rooftop converation and IBC bonding are really superb.

I chose Elie in Zero but chose Rixia in Azure. Feels like her backstory more deserves it than hollow romance like Elie which will get reset in next games.

10 Minute “ALLEY-LOOP”

I really see Lloyd and Rixia working romantically along with Ellie. Falcom has been iffy on the whole thing and loves teasing with his harem. *looks at Noel* They’re relationship with eachother is honestly sweet since they represent the sun and moon, and are two sides of the same coin. Lloyd works by the law, dealing with barriers to limit himself, while Rixia works in the shadows, tackling the criminal underworld through whatever means.

At first I thought this was really cute and wholesome, but then I was like “oh…OHHH Tio likes him like THAT huh ?”

With the way Lloyd responds to this vs the others you can def tell Elie is the intended romance option . The others are good but Lloyd doesn’t express himself as much as with her

Rixia's and Tio's bonding events were very interesting because they showed how their emotional growth led to catharsis. In Tio's case, trauma made her shut herself from others while Rixia had a very unusual upbringing that was devoid of parental love. These circumstances made them less empathic if compared to a typical person. So I'm really happy with what the writers did for these characters. The writers weren't forcing players to recognized them as canon ships. They instead portrayed Lloyd as a supportive and close friend.

One thing I really appreciate about Elie's bonding event is the fact that they approached this one in a slightly more subtle/direct way. Elie straight up saying to him, "You already know, right?" treats Lloyd as the smart man that he is and none of the oblivious harem trope Lloyd has found himself multiple times in. XD

Is this from the Geofront cut? Thank you very much! I didn't quite get them all on my playthrough, playing without strictly following a guide makes it a huge pain.

I love Wazy, but I didnt unlock his bonding event! I was wicked curious about how he got his stigma, but I assumed it'd be answered in a later trails game! Little did I know, it was here all along!! Thanks for uploading! Super glad I got to watch this. Wazy rules.
