I extracted my pinch bolts by shearing the bolt heads off with a half inch rachet then undone nuts then add washers to threaded emd obvioisly and then tighten nut thus drawing out the bolt, I did use penatrating oil and some heat but not too much just enough to help the oil spread into the oxidation, that white powder, dont use copper slip use graphite or brown general purpose grease on your new bolts as Alloy reacts with it and dont be driving wedges into the arm joint hole slots and dont be hammering the crap out of the knuckels. Give me a shout of you want a walk through. Glad to help, I know it's a pain, but I found this the cheapest most simple way. Dont be conned by very expensive fancy tools, no need, a box of washers is cheap and gets it done. All the best folks. 👍

I promise you, Your life is much easier if you spray all the pinch bolts for upto 1 week every day with Aerokroil or P Blaster. use a PENETRATING oil. DO NOT use WD40. Do this every day for 1 week prior to install they will come right out with wrench and ratchet. No heat and No 400$ Klann removal kit. No hammering. Ive done this on Audis and VW's untouched since 2000 driven in New England.

I particularly enjoy how you made a video to show how to remove that $1.30 bolt, it's a pain. Especially when you manage to do $100 of damage to your control arms, not to mention the $300 knuckle you've now tempered so its weaker. But you keep on teaching man, the more to you.

proper way is spray down with penetrating oil and use breaker bar if necessary. DO NOT use heat gun. like previous poster stated, you can wear your bushings and weaken the clamp. I understand you are trying to help, which is very kind of you but this video should be removed.
