Running a Personal Venture Studio - Hazel Lim | User Stories Podcast 16
Переглядів 563Рік тому
In this episode I interview Hazel Lim, who has an interesting approach when it comes to building businesses. Hazel runs a personal venture studio. What does that mean? In essence, she uses a system to launch/validate a bunch of ideas for products/businesses rather than focus all of her energy on any single idea (at least until one of those ideas proves to be a smashing success). I had never hea...

Bro thought he was on to something
Very thanks from Brazil man!
Honestly bubble has given me the confidence to learn code because I understand its logic and have found it easy to learn. I am good at maths but always found coding so daunting. I have developed moderately complex apps with bubble and now am starting to learn code
When I go live with the app the code to get a token doesn't work. Any solution?
Thanks for this so Much! Best wishes ! Happy New Year!♥
I feel the very same way, it flat out doesn’t matter about any of it even if we knew the “facts” the utility company still wants there payment each month or you don’t shower and the internet company will shut off your wi fi and then we cant research any further about the “facts” until that bill is paid again. Unless money is being made researching or we think the facts being pursued will financially pay off, what’s it matter? Bottom line, enjoy our experiences while we are here and don’t worry about the science, it’s depressing and not productive
Thank you Jacob!!!
You are a genius and an angel. Thank you! What an incredible youtube channel!
Thank you from korea
Bro was saying it like he has a profound thought or something
Hi Jacob. What are you up to these days?
Is it possible to drag and drop an entire row from a table containing multiple cells?
Should there be a concern how over time this is going to result in most of your index numbers being decimals? Is it possible to change the index to a whole number and displace the index numbers of the remaining things accordingly?
how many workloads does it take for lets say... 1000 items created
So you're saying they're basically the "windows" of coding? Cause i'm old as dirt, so i remember computers before windows was a thing and they were simply not for everyone. It was weird and boring to do anything on a computer before visual operation systems became popular.
damn..very helpful....but all this just to bulk upload/insert data... Just Damn
Parabéns
Thank you for this insightful, helpful recording! I have had a couple Bubble coaching sessions with Kelly and she is awesome indeed. Kelsey, congrats on your startup. I noticed you've pivoted Candor a bit since this recording. It would be interesting to do a part 2 and hear about your reasons for the pivot. Jacob, are you up for it?! Either way, thank you again! I learned a lot.
Jacob, this video was exactly what I was looking for. Great job uncovering this secret gem. Honestly don't think enough people know about this
Is there any alternative if we are doing this on free plan as i dont have scheduler API workflow is there any alternative to that?
Glad I found this video. I just started my low code agency and very excited to get my first official client. Thank you guys
saved my life and now created some kick ass charts, gracias.
thanks dude!! will try it soon.
Succint explanation
What if the return value are in lists ….
Thanks for the tutorial on this! There is a simpler way to go about creating the re-ordering. This works on any index and does not require another workflow to check for the first or last index. Step 1: Instead of creating a state on the DropArea, create a state on the repeating group called old_order. Step 2: In the workflow, set the state of old_order to This DropArea’s order number Step 3: Make changes to to-do > Thing to change = This DropArea’s ToDo’s. Order Number = Current Workflow’s to-dos order number Step 4: Make changes to to-do > Thing to change = Current Workflow’s to-do’s. Order Number = RepeatingGroup ToDo’s old_order.
I got what you said but couldn't understand the process of doing.
Man, I just have found your channel (looking for help with oauth2) and I can see you interviewed Gregory. Well, you've just jumped to my second favorite no code channel (bubble official still being the first 😅). Awesome job! 👏👏👏👏👏
Dude, I've been searching ALL DAY for a single decent tutorial that shows how to do this. Thank you!
Got it to work! Thanks
Does this work on the free plan?
Such a wonderful podcast.
My friend, how do I make a donation to your channel, this video helped me a lot.
This tutorial helped me incredibly. Thank you very, very much.
Where is the Calculate Button workflow or javascript handled?

Shut up goober
great tutorial! quick question: same use case, but I want to store/save in DB the creator of the data, such that if I have multiple users creating data, I can always filter by user. What would be the approach?
thans for your post, really helpful 👍🏼🚀
