Not easy to get on. My brother helped me and still had problems getting my foot in the shoe. We will figure it out. Still great. I walked 25 steps for the first time since July 2. And I did it back too. So a total of 50 steps

Excellent information! I'm looking forward to receiving my shoes this month. I am a stroke survivor with residual left foot drop. I've been using the CIONIC Neural Sleeve with great success. Since it stimulates upper leg muscles and not just dorsiflexion I am anxious to see how they work in combination.

I’ve noticed my calves and quads are sore, I guess I’m working on muscles I’ve not been using, this was an eye opener. I’m still getting accustomed to them. Walking heel toe is really easy with this shoe, especially with my foot drop, I also am wearing an AFO with them.

I would like to purchase.. where can I purchase a pair..

I have had my CADENSE for a few weeks and I am getting more comfortable with then. They do work with my STEP--SMART brace and FLOPSTOP and some of my other drop foot braces. (I put a plastic wire tie through the bottom lace holes so I have something to hook my braces to) What I like about the shoes is they do let me know when I am not walking correctly. Sometimes it sounds like I have tap shoes on. I am learning to pay more attention to my feet. I have to remember not to use the front of my foot getting out of the car.

Unless your demonstrating to the blind- Highly recommend visually demonstrate exactly what your talking about.

Let me start by saying - awesome shoes. Thanks for all of your hard work. Really appreciate someone trying to tackle the issue of gait / foot drop in such a cool, novel way. But... Not to send negative...Are you working with people who are as messed up as me from MS? I, too, only use one hand, BUT because I have left-sided weakness, there's no way I can lift my left leg while seated and slide my foot into a shoe. I can don a shoe, but it doesn't look as pretty and seamless as the video. I cross my weak leg over my strong leg and, with one hand, pull the shoe down onto my foot (that is usually inside an AFO). A different donning procedure entirely. If you don't mind a suggestion. Make some videos with Stroke, MS, and CP patients. I really want to purchase these shoes, but if I can't see disabled people using the product, I'm less likely to spend the cash. I saw a video on IG of a person wearing an AFO with their Cadense shoes while using a cane (which was great) but am I supposed to account for my AFO when picking the size that I need? Your FAQ doesn't mention that. Any info would be helpful Thanks in advance Linda. PS: Is there any way the entire shoe could be black so it could be worn with nonathletic outfits and pass as a casual all-black shoe?
