Переглядів 53812 років тому
This film focuses on current research into the neural basis of gender differences. I have been working with Professor Gero Miesenboech at Oxford University and Professor Ed Boyden at MIT who together pioneered "optogenetics", a revolutionary technique being used to control brain activity and link behavioral outcomes to specific neuronal circuits.

The gardeners knows the 8000 species they have planted there, but there was still a lot still to discover in these wonderful grounds near the centre of Cambridge.

Not really a good timeline of how the microscope got invented, they leave lots of things out. Almost as if they do not want to give credit to the ones that deserve it.
Una iniciativa muy atractiva
Just tape a plant to another.
Thank you for video! Very interesting!
I wish they teach next time those kids respect towards all those sentient beings, who were hunted and forced to fit in those claustrophobic test tubes.
BTW you remarkably unbelievable idiots...the LHC is NOT a weapon. Its RESEARCH!!!
@gangstagrannie ur definition of theory may pertain to your everyday average person in society, however ur defintion of theory does nt come close to what is defined as a true SCIENTIFIC THEORY.It doesnt earn the title,THEORY,unless the idea is so proven that your chances of disproving it are pretty much zero.4instance atomic theory...is falsifiable because u cn devise experiments2test the idea, however the foundation of atomic theory is not going to be derailed, ever.Hence it is a scientific theory
Excellent film Richard But I notice the age of Ming is creeping inexorably upwards .... Sadly its still 'only' 507! Paul
so... i guess i understand more of what the LHC is for but there was still some stuff in there that went way over my head... i had to watch the Higgs field/boson bit 3 times just to catch everything they were saying. particle physics, you so craaaaazy.
Right now, I cannot wait for 2014 when the LHC will be running at full power.
super symmetry and dark matter to a scientist is like God to a christian. The "theory" behind it though based in science can't be proven...seems like they just have "faith" in its existence.
great video project, thanks
I think this is the best documentary on youtube regarding the LHC. Love the explanation of the Higgs field and boson. Yay for youTube.
