This is my back channel, where I am going to put everything that doesnt fit into the main channel (Seafishing with CJ), so it will contain lifestyle stuff, new projects, converted cine film , wildlife stuff, skydiving stuff, unboxings, and reviews, and anything else.
If you have been directed here, or have stumbled across this channel, please hit the subscribe button , hit the thumbs up ( or the thumbs down) and please leave me a comment, I promise I will get back to you.

Fox filmed on a Tassety HC 600A wildlife camera
many nights our dog has woken us barking at the back door, we guessed what it might be , but to confirm I bought a new wildlife camera, and set it up outside the back door, I sprinkled a few titbits of dried dog food, and this is what I filmed.

East Sussex Autumn Watch -South Downs Nature Ramble- looking for wild life
Nice one,Chris, was Bertie watching ? My dog would go bananas! Loos like you enjoyed the France trip, looking forward to seeing the videos.
He seems to have lost interest in the fox.
Thank you for the video. Which rental car company did you use?
Sorry it's taken me a while, it was Alamo. To be recommended. Picked us up and dropped us back at the airport. Really good.
Nice job, you shot some great footage here. Great upload. 👍 Gold finches are so stunning in colours.
They are definitely one of our prettiest birds.
Nice footage and channel you've got going. I'm sure the bird is a female common merganser. This is not a criticism, just an observation. I'm an amateur UA-camr. 👍
Im not sure, still think its not a Goosander
Thanks for sharing this ,Chris. Never seen one ,but did see my first female eider in Shoreham harbour last week.
Nice one.
nice one Chris
Interesting how the GoPro looks a lot worse than the Osmo. GoPro's really need a lot of sunshine to excel.
They need to wake up and fit a 1inch sensor
Thing is, with the GoPro as it’s an Action Camera, everything needs to be in focus. Different people will be looking at different parts of the action so everything needs to be focussed regardless of distance. With the current 1 inch sensors they introduce slight depth of focus just like in the Osmo Pocket 3. Not ideal for a fast Action Camera which needs to have everything in focus.
Great Video Sir
I agree. The go pro is far more robust though. I love the wireless mic when im filming myself. But the go pro media mod is better when im filming others.
Great comparison. Both look great. Osmo is so bright and clean though. And I prefer the audio from the Osmo.
Instead of one of those compessed air puffers, I use a canned computer cleaner compressed air like those you use to clean the insides of a PC. Also, to see the dust, I find it's better to use the external monitor option. You can hook it up to your computer screen with proper adapters and software.
Also, if the film jams, no need to open the gate to pull it out of the jam. With a pair of tweezers, you can pull it out of it's jam easly.
Great tip.
Hours of fun ! A friend of mine does similar with a pair of parakeets in Buckingham park, Shoreham 👍🦜
Great footage again Chris. That Lamprey hole on that fish at 1:14 was awful. Looked like a mortal wound.
There were several badly injured fish amongst them , some caused by cormorants or seals or possibly mink.
Great footage Chris. I must have missed this one. Wonderful to see, but I hate those lampreys.
They are evil.
Havent seen any this year though.
"Promosm" 😌
Swarming with fish there 👌🏾
Not fishing , its like their hospital.
@@SEAFISHINGwithCJ oh ok interesting
That looks great fun and those fish are so beautiful. Brilliant!
yeah mate cant wait to get back there for another go.
Well done Chris great bit of underwater filming👍
😊
Loved the crocodile bridge, maybe you could put some in the Cuckmere at Eceat , to give us something to look at whilst queuing 🚗🚗🚗🚗🐊🐊. Great viewing on a soggy day in Shoreham. Bring on the next episode 👍
I love 🇨🇷. Cant wait to go back there , Pura Vida.
Wow ! Thanks for that burst of colour, certainly tops watching the turnstones on the Buckle beach . Looking forward to the next one 🌞👍🦜🐒
It helps keep the february blues away,
Lovely sights Chris. If you need to steady the camera, I find if you break a 5ft stick and use it upright on the ground to kill the shake, works well. Also focus manual mode if you can't get through the branches,. What a lovely place!
Thanks
Awesome
😊
Wow. Looks like Gettysburg post-battle!!
Cant imagine what was going on under ground.
Beautiful Birds Robins
👍
Looks like you having a great holiday
👍
Go and have your breakfast and stop monkeying around🤣🤣
Just subscribed to you Chris good little ant video👍
thanks
How much was the river safari? Is this near Belize city?
Hi. No it was organised by the lodge, it was in San Ignacio a long way from Belize city
Looks nice! We are going to San Ignacio in February, but not staying at Black Rock Lodge. Can you go and walk that area where you were birding without booking a tour?
You would have to ask the Black Rock Lodge, as most is on their property.
How do you compensate for the different frame rate speeds of the 8mm and Super 8 and the scan rate of the Wolverine ?
You need to adjust in an editing package after scanning.
There is a switch that does that
@@cjswildlife6798 Is there? I was under the impression that it captured to a steady 20fps MP4 file, which you can then adjust in post to whatever desired frame rate. I've also seen results where the sharpness is set to low, creating a much more organic, classic feel of 8mm film. I've been thinking about getting this unit, and if I do I think I'd rather do it that way and then sharpen using other tools in my editor so I have more control.
@@KentFrost you are probably right, I am very pleased with the results from mine, all I do in post edit, is to perhaps adjust colours. and add music.
@@cjswildlife6798 There is no switch as you discovered by now, That switch is to go between regular 8 and super 8. Edit the file afterwards in edit program to speed up or slow down.
What a wonderful sight!
Nice one Chris, enjoyed that!
BB checking his p-mail!!! Love the walk
Thanks. Interesting and informative. I've also made damson gin which is just as moreish as sloe gin. BTW if you want to get in touch, no peemails please!
I promise no peemails.
Very good, enjoyed that Chris. Start wearing ya glasses and you could pass for TVs Out of Town Jack Hargreaves..... do you smoke a pipe?!!!
Say what you will, the countryside is still, the only place where i could settle down....
Me too Chris, the only place to find solace. Hence why we are looking to move somewhere Herefordshire way.... back to my formative roots so to speak.
@@TheSpanx1 yeah we are looking to move to Cornwall.
Great video today I really enjoyed, Thanks for sharing!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it, it was fun making it.
Wow that’s well clear :)
go pro 8, Im very impressed
Memories ofBelize, you sure make the most of life Chris.
Its for living, you are a long time under the sod, when are you coming down to go fishing, the Plaice and Pollock should be showing now
Many thanks, Chris. Very interesting
Very nice, some cracking birds. I did a four month tour in Belize in 82 but wasn’t too interested in birds (the feathered kind) then. Definitely missed out.
Yeah mate i was here in 75 and 80, it has changed a lot.
