Blessed and cute with the little one. Love this video. Keep on praising God!
Please explain how a Roman Catholic holiday taken from pagans and never celebrated by Protestants until just recently. Martin Luther never recognized the day! Nor did Westly or any other non catholic men of god. How is it you 2000 years later see any goodness in this pagan affair.
It’s not about the origins but about what it means to people now. Today it is a cultural celebration of love and giving- and that is what Jesus is all about! It is a good time for Christ followers to shine His light of love, peace and joy into a world that is broken and hurting. That is what He calls us to do.
@@kindleconnections759 Sister I am sorry, but I disagree with you. It is indeed about the origins. God in Scripture gives no command to celebrate the birth of Christ with an annual feast day. All of the holy days of the ceremonial law were ordained by God and have been abrogated by him in Christ (Col. 2:16-17). Scripture warns of religious obligations, including feast days, appointed of men's own devising (Exod. 32:5-6, 1 Kings 12:32-33, Mark 7:5-13, Col. 2:20-23). Times appointed by men, such as commemorative days on a civil calendar (Armistice Day, Thanksgiving Day, etc.), are not holy, though they may be useful (Esth. 9:19). A liturgical season is religious and obligatory by its very nature (even the English word Christmas indicates that the day is a Christian holy day of obligation). The Christmas season has been joined with corruptions and idolatries, chiefly the Christ-dishonoring sacrifice of the mass. God in his providence calls all of us, individually and corporately, to various seasons--seasons of joy, sorrow, repentance, rest--yet according to his own time. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" (Ecc. 3:1). God-ordained time does not follow a man-made calendar, and may run contrary to it. We know this by experience, since any human calendar follows a regular system of dates, while providence follows God's unsearchable wisdom (and is full of surprises). Christ is Lord of the Sabbath. Having released us from the burden of days and seasons under the law, he has given his Church his own day, the new day of his resurrection, when we may keep the Sabbath by gathering together to worship him in spirit and in truth (Gal. 4:9-10, Rev. 1:10, Acts 20:7, Heb. 10:24-25). Alas i fear that you will do what your flesh desires and not by what Gods Word plainly reveals. I hope you oneday are able to see the evil of the day they call Christmas.

Another fabulous SOS. You spoke of inner wounds healing, which reminded me of something. I had major surgery last year, I was told my outer inscions would take 6-8 weeks to heal but the internal wounds would take 6-8 months to heal. It takes time to heal and we're so blessed to have the perfect healer working on/for us.
What a wonderful analogy! Thank you Kelly! God’s healing is a great blessing indeed and a perfect display of His love, a love that is, by nature, restorative!
Wow! This really spoke to me. Thank you SO much for sharing. Psalm 34:18 ❤
Thank you Pastor Serena! God bless!
