switch lite is bad and having a special hyrule edition doesnt make it better. you can play your orignal switch on handheld mode so i never understood why buy this lite version which cant be played on a big tv and has joy con issues.

(I don’t play Zelda that much but once I get the switch I’ll be sure to get botw) (played a bit of it and had fun but idk if I’d like a top down game) honestly i just really like the color and I’ve been meaning to get into Zelda so rn and I think it’d just be nice to have a more portable system (plus it’s battery is probably better than my 7 year old switch that I never really take out the dock unless I can bring a carrying case) plus all my right joycons are funky and don’t like handheld mode(Idfk why) so maybe a lite would be better for that too

Wish they put a oled screen in the switch lite it needs a bigger one would be a big reason to get it

Zenronin grip is cool and all but its not as dockable as it claims.... I literally have to fidget it just to get it to dock like add pressure to push it down and pull it out... So idk how these guys make it look easy...

I’m soooo happy that Nintendo is saying they plan to continue with physical media, i buy 99% of my games physically.

I think it's going to be a lot more powerful than most people are assuming. They're thinking about a normal step-up between generations, which would usually be 5 years. This will be 8 years, so it's closer to 2 generations. And in fact the Switch 2 will be competing against the PS6 for most of its lifespan. So I think the Switch 2 will be able to run cross-platform games that are on PS5. The Switch 1 can already run cross-platform games that are on PS4, so it has to be better than that or what's the point of releasing a new console? The new dock will definitely have more hardware in it this time. They may even sell the dock separately, so you can buy the tablet alone like a Switch Lite if you don't want to spend extra on 4K 60fps. Maybe it will work with the old dock if you don't want the full upgrade. Because if the new dock has extra processors and a parallel GPU (and maybe even more Nintendo-style new features we don't know about), then the dock will be expensive. Maybe $399 for the Switch 2, $149 for the new dock, and $499 for the bundle which saves you $50 if you buy both.

I don't care how long it takes, I will never demand Nintendo to reveal (let alone release) the next Nintendo system, considering the Nintendo Switch is still selling really well and actually has significantly better graphics & processing-power than the Xbox 360 & PS3 combined, contrary to popular-belief! And besides, at least the Nintendo Switch being a generation behind (or two) actually gives the players (a) good reason(s) to buy a modern PlayStation or Xbox, because Nintendo makes far more noticeable first-party games that draws the attention to so many gamer's eyes, while if Graphics & Power really means that much to gamers, then they could just buy PlayStations and Xboxes specifically for third-party titles, it should really be a win-win situation for both worlds! But sadly... Anyway, I honestly hope that IF there will be another new Nintendo system, I hope that it will release the same year as the PlayStation 6 and Xbox Platform (most likely Holiday 2028), because I really want Nintendo not to rush their next hardware so they can make sure it can keep up with PS5 & XBS hardware for third-party's sake, but I'm not trying to contradict myself, just explaining why Nintendo should delay their next system until it is fully polished and ready to impress the next level of technology in video-games (especially handhelds, which will probably be Nintendo's only type of system nowadays, as the Switch is actually a portable system that just happens to be connectable to the TV with multiple controllers for several players to participate in the game). Thought I would leave this here for anyone curious: the game runs perfectly on the Steam Deck as well (and I have a certified pre-owned LCD 512 model for clarification), and you can even mod it on there too! I switched from the Ally cause it actually cooked multiple microSD cards for me, between two separate units. 😅
